Fire Pro Wrestling World (especially PC version) is the best wrestling game ever. As far as Bret Hart, he was the best Jack-of-All-Trades wrestler to ever be. Heel, Face, Tag, Mid-Card, Main Event wherever you needed him; he could do it and do it well. Now when you put him in the conversation of Ric Flair, Macho Man, Hulk Hogan then no he was overrated. Personal opinion. I actually liked Owen Hart better.

Owen definitely had more personality and was just as good in the ring. I have fire pro wrestling on PS4/5…..It’s cool but I like the bigger budget games better

Just an FYI for everyone concerned about AEW Fight Forever... if you go to the Steam listing of the game, all of the features supposedly omitted from the website's description are all still listed in the Steam description of the game.

I think the Steam listing is just echoing the generic write ups that retail stores were initially given ages ago, as the 'coming soon' listings on retail stores also have the old write ups with all the features not mentioned on the official site. A creation suite has never been mentioned in the game's history as far as i know, though (I think alot of people just assumed there would be one), so we might not get that beyond customizing existing wrestlers.

WWE All Stars is a gem. Very fun to play. A lot of the same people that made the TNA Impact game also worked on this. They are pretty similar.

Crazy thing is we were supposed to get a No Mercy 2 but it got cancelled smh. I was also a fan of Wrestlemania 2000 on the N64. To answer your quest, no I don’t think Bret hart was overrated but I do think Cena is hella overrated in my opinion. Bret basically saved the wwf back in the day lol.

I believe it was going to be called WWF Armageddon. Unfortunately it was canceled because Nintendo was preparing to abandon the Nintendo 64 and move on to the GameCube.

WWE Allstars was a dope game I remember having some long ass matches especially with the computer reversing every damn move and reversing my signatures and finishers it was a damn battle lol 😂

All-Stars is like a modernized WrestleMania: The Arcade Game, with its over-the-top, cartoon-esque physics, as well as having the superstars' body physique in the style of action figures. The gameplay basically reminded me of what an actual third Def Jam wrestling game would've been like if almost every move was a Blazin' finisher!

Regarding your question about Bret Hart, I definitely think he was one of the best, but not for reasons most people might consider. The fact is, he could make anybody look good in the ring, even Davey Boy Smith when he was at his intoxicated worst. Really, Hart was the ultimate enhancement talent, though he was lucky to get his own push to the top when WWE decided to give some of the smaller guys a run with the belt. Offence-wise, Hart was good, but often cycled through the same repertoire of moves in each match... it was his ability to run a match and sell moves where he really shined.

So, my favorite wrestler of all time is Scott Steiner. 1989 - 1997 for wrestling ability, 1998 - 2001 for personality. Infinitely stronger than either Hart or Michaels, and with a wrestling pedigree to put both of them together to shame. He had a great tag match with Rick against Bret and Owen Hart in 1994. He never wrestled Shawn Michaels, but probably would have mauled him in the ring as he had no respect for Shawn.

Scott Steiner was gold. His mathematics promo was one of the best of all-time. He was the complete athlete too bad his single run in WWE was during his down years

I'll leave it like this. Bret wasn't the Best of his time, that was a different Hart. He wasn't the Best that came before, Hulk caused 2 boom periods in different decades. He isn't the Best there ever will be, I don't know the future but Tiffany Stratton is more entertaining and Orange Cassidy is a better Champion, then there's Chris Bey.
