These videos have really taught and showed me alot. Ms. Dani lives a very very privledge life that people that are billionaires could not ever find this kind of happiness and enjoyment. Her Xmas tree was cut down by her and her boyfriend in the forest and decorated with pine cones and animal decorations that was collected and made by her over the years. Such a beautiful life. That people look for all their life. They are living a dream come true. With all the beautiful forest and wildlife. How Majestic!! So do jealous.❣️❣️

Welcome to Sweden! Please note that You are not actually allowed to break off twigs or branches off of trees (nor are you permitted to cut down Your own Christmas tree btw). Please enjoy our outdoors :) If you're having troubble finding roe deer then you might want to come down a wee bit further south in the country, we have them plenty. They are as common as dandelions in the southern and middle part of our enlongated country and they are not that shy here either.

What a great video report! The squirrel with a snow covered mouth was pretty funny to me. I chuckled pretty good at that. The northern lights photos at the end were magnificent. That is one thing I'd love to see before I leave this life, not sure I want to do it in -20° weather though. You are like a crazy person in that regard, but if you love it then I am more that happy to help support your adventure. Take care, be safe, and stay warm.

I am sitting here in my office and start thinking, I have become a sentimental old man. Seeing your footage, seeing the joy you have in what you do and above all, seeing the results makes me wish I was about 40 years younger. I do a lot of photography myself (especially in Sweden, but far more south) and can understand the joy you have. And about being 2out of focus", just be happy that there was no unrepeatable footage.

Wow Dani, those northern lights photos are spectacular. These are amazing videos, I'm watching all of them. I hope almost-spring is cheering you up even though you're probably in Sweden right now, and because you love winter so much. I live in Canada and we had the wimpiest winter ever... 1 real storm 9 inches woo hoo... and like 5 2-inch snows. It would have been good for squirrels but no snowy background. Also it wasn't very cold, so, I love winter but this was one for people who want an extended autumn. I hope you're all doing good, and happy art adventures. -Dave

Dani I know you are a wildlife photographer, and your images are gorgeous, but the snowscenes you have captured in this series over the last few months since you moved to your house in Northern Sweden are so beautiful, a Christmas Card/Calendar scene at every turn, that I really think you should market your landscape images as well. This video convinces me that you are a very fine landscape photographer.

Also how you are able to move to Sweden - I have looked into it many times but it seems so hard since Brexit. 😭 If you are living there as self employed, I would really love to hear more about this, as I am self employed. Wonderful video - the red squirrels are so precious and the northern lights, wow, just stunning! Thanks so much for sharing.

Hello, love your channel! Questions about the house: - why do you not stack the wood? - why do you store the wood inside and in a perfectly nice finished room? Wouldn't you want to stack the wood outside and cover it with tarp, then construct a lean to for the wood storage. - do the windows have a second pane for winter? Else aren't the windows the source of incoming cold? - how do you get hot water? Is there a water heater? - can you show the bathroom and the shower? Very interested to see. Again, thank you very much for your work. We watch your videos as a family and really enjoy these.

Hi Dani, The landscape in the videos you share is so beautiful that, like many other people, I'm tempted to move to Northern Sweden. Some questions for the upcoming Q&A video: 1. Did you get residence before Brexit? Currently, I can't see a way for a British national to stay in Sweden for longer than 90 days. 2. Do you or your boyfriend speak Swedish? If not, are you experiencing any difficulties in communicating with Swedish people or any issues in general in your day to day life? 3. Was Sweden uncontested from the start? Did you look into Northern Norway, Finland or similar areas before moving to Sweden? 4. How is WiFi speed and reliability? 5. Are you able to order anything online to your home? How is the delivery of goods in general (Amazon presence etc.)? 6. Do you have easy and quick access to healthcare? I'd appreciate if you could answer at least some of them. Many thanks in advance.

Have you tried sunflower seeds to attract squirrels? I have also bought a very cheap house in the North of Sweden two years ago and I wanted to feed the birds in order to have something that is alive outside of my window that I could look at and photograph. After a few months the squirrels discovered my birdfeeder and since then I have about 10 of them coming every day. I also tried peanuts and all other kinds of things, but sunflower seeds (the ones that still have the peel on) are the clear winner. You can buy them in 20kg bags almost everywhere.

If I'm not mistaken the babies squirrel born in January when the seeds of pine are most ripe in the cones. The fact the squirrel doesn't touch your nuts comes from their knowledge that the only thing in this critical period is to eat as much pine cones and seeds as possible. I think this squirrel is female.
@sagamariahsandberg7892 жыл бұрын
Red squirrels have an individual reproduction rhythm, so the female will mate when she deems it suitable! In the boreal forest habitat they will usually have their first litter of kits around March, and then another litter later in summer. But it differs from squirrel to squirrel!
