Damn, muay thai camps and prison are p similar. In muay thai camps when you fuck up the only punishment you're hoping not to get is sparring your teacher. Hot sand, rolling pins, deadlift and carry 5gal water jugs on a jog, cutting grass, sweeping rock gardens, meditation, heavy workouts, all of that is better than going against someone who *wants* to hurt you so bad you give up. As someone who would rather die than give up this gave me a huge ego check nearly weekly until I let my ego evaporate while fighting. It took 8yr to beat my teacher a single time. After that I began to take it more seriously and understand the exact situation I'd been in numerous times. That didn't translate to siege until I was bullied by my friend group to fix everything and I'm more thankful than anything. The harder the situations we endure and the more willing we are to level with the demons that stare us down, the more human we become. David vs goliath is david vs his demons. Glhf
