real women support male victims of assault as well. Assault/abuse is horrible for anyone and can cause long lasting trauma. She is a horrible person.
@val26903 жыл бұрын
@Criminal de guerra woman is the adult counterpart to girl. Adult insinuates having both mental and physical maturity. Mental maturity is not having a degree of cognitive dissonance that would shame men for being abused. Yes, real women are women- but women are adults, and adults dont pull the sht that girl did.
@val26903 жыл бұрын
@Criminal de guerra adulthood is beyond the physical, it is simultaneously physical and other things. not to mention the physical varies in time and space- ie i developped fully physically by 11- i was 5'11 etc. Some countries consider 16 adult, others 18, others 21- the brain doesnt fully develop on average until 25, but that has variation too. Some cultures/societies have coming of age ceremonies to mark adulthood- a quinceanera at 15 vs a bat mitzvah at 13. Adulthood is thus maturity of the physical, mental, emotional, and social aspects of life.
@val26903 жыл бұрын
@Criminal de guerra no ones saying they arent, i'm saying that adulthood as a concept changes throughout time and space- it is not a fixed concept. In many cases, people with mental disorders/illnesses are infantilized as being mentally not adult, aka "retardation". What do you define as an adult, considering that it does vary by time, place, and culture? Some cultures consider menstruation/sexual maturity to mark adulthood for women- that is also how non-human animals are classified as adult. If a 65 yr old assaults an 10-year-old who is menstruating, is that not pedophilia? It is pedophilia, because society hopefully picked and chose what to define as an adult socially so as to protect the 10yr old. Therefore the classification of adult socially is different than that physically, and they collide as aspects contributing to maturity/complete adultness. I suggest you go research the definition of adult. You will quickly find that the factors it takes into account are both the "psychological and the physical" and "varies country to country " and "subject to change over time"- American Journal of Medicine.

I was sexually assaulted by a girl when we were both 7 and it took me until last year to tell anyone about it. I thought no one would believe me when I told them a girl assaulted me as a girl myself (at the time) 11 years I was in constant fear of a girl I hadn’t seen or heard of in 9 years. Just the sight of the building she lived in was enough to send me panicking. So the fact that Jack was able to speak up about it, is really brave. The fear you can feel not knowing if people will believe you is a lot to handle.

I've experienced that too, the girl was my best friend at the time and just like you we were both 7 years old when it happened, and even though it's been 12 years I still want to gag every time I think about crossing paths with her. She still lives in my hometown and she has come to both the places where I work and every time it felt like I was on the verge of a mental breakdown. I never even got an apology from her for what she cohorsed me into. I told all the adults in my life that could help as soon as possible yet nothing happened to her. Lots of the people I trusted that I told this to didn't believe me or really care. I'm really sad for Jack whose trauma was basically dismissed in Sienna's "apology", I hope he recovers. And I hope you do too.

@nobleofblackcats9726 I might be missunderstanding something and I might sound insensitive, but based on your comment that happened when you were both 7 years old. 7 years old have not yet hit puberty and do not even know what sex is, so if what she did was a sexual assault then she certainly did it by mistake. If it is traumatic for you I understand that, we do not control how we feel, but on the concious level I would suggest you to forgive her since I am pretty sure that that was not her intention. Also holding a grudge is not the best for you.

They were childhood friends and Sienna was extremely disgusting towards Jack before the big incident of the clip of her SAing him. He told her repeatedly he didn't like her in a romantic way but she kept harassing him. Sienna is an awful person and as far as I know hasn't faced any real consequences for what she did (like most social media influencers - if you can call her a influencer). I know iNabber covered more about the situation and even has some clips from Jack's video about what happened, so highly recommend gerting a few more details from there.

When I was anorexic, If I saw a shirt saying “Did you eat today?” I would start feeling ashamed if I had eaten. It doesn’t come across as “Did you eat today? @cez_is_typing2 жыл бұрын
This. People always forget (or don’t know) how pessimistic and competitive eating disorders are. It doesn’t matter how nice you are to them, they will twist it into something to fuel their disorder Which is why pro-ana communities are SO harmful Also why you’ll see people saying that they see being called “sickly thin” as a compliment And also why people like Eugenia Cooney exist People with EDs will take negative comments and turn them into compliments And will take positive ones and either ignore them or convince themselves it’s a lie If you have an eating disorder you have to WANT to recover to recover Asking someone if they ate today does absolutely nothing lmao (I feel like I should clarify that I have suffered from an eating disorder and I’m saying this in hindsight from a 2 years in recovery standpoint, I’m not just shitting on people with EDs lol)
@callmegale2 жыл бұрын
As someone who also struggled with anorexia for years, I agree. I don't want to project my issues on her and I get that she means well. But just personally, when people asked that kind of question, I just felt guilty if I ate. Like it's a passive-aggressive question in my mind. I know better now after recovering but yeah, for people with ED, these things can be taken wrongly.
@tiawolf36102 жыл бұрын
Someone who doesn't eat may look at it and be reminded to eat if their case is that they just don't remember Also not everyone is the same - your mind won't match the mind of every person with anorexia - someone else seeing it could be inspired to eat - someone could feel bad about not eating and think "I should at least grab an apple" See the good and the bad
@urmom-zh6zs2 жыл бұрын
@@tiawolf3610 theres more bad than good though, not only does it come across as infantalizing (as mentioned in the video) but it also completely ignores people with EDs who stuggle to stop eating. the reason people get anorexia is usually due to feeling unattractive, so most anorexic people's minds would work like that. someone who has ADHD or something similar who forgets to eat wont be like "omg a shirt asked if i ate today i should do that!!" they will likely just feel infantalized. this is coming from someone who has experience with multiple different types of EDs and ADHD. the merch aint good, and even if it was meant to be helpful, it isnt.
@tiawolf36102 жыл бұрын
@@urmom-zh6zs there are many kinds of people who will take it in different ways - personally if I saw a shirt that said "do you have your keys?" I would subconsciously check to make sure I had my keys even though I don't even own keys 💀 If I saw that shirt about eating I'd probably think of everything I ate that day People think in different ways and yes I know it ignores the people who struggle with over eating but the shirt isn't specifically for them - it's for people who don't eat enough and while some people will feel mocked by the shirt other people would take it as a genuine "oh shit" reminder to grab something to eat There are over 7 billion people in this world - I doubt I'm the only one who doesn't feel mocked by shirts reminding them to do something I understand why some would say they hate it - getting treated like a child is annoying - if someone is constantly treated like a little kid because of their eating disorder then of course the shirt would agitate them My point was that this person can't speak for EVERY. SINGLE. PERSON. who happens to have an eating disorder - there are lots of people in the world and chances are there are a lot who'd find the shirt helpful as well as offensive and even some that'd find it both helpful and offensive - they can't speak for everyone based on their thoughts on the shirt and neither can you

I was raped at knifepoint by a girl I worked with. It happened when I was hanging out at home with a few of my usual work buddies and the particular female in question. She lingered a few minutes after everyone else had left and pulled a knife from her purse completely out of nowhere threatening to hurt me if I resisted and to harm my family or friends if I ever told anyone. when I opened up about it she lied and claimed I assaulted her and I was arrested and held for 4 days. Almost lost my job I had worked so hard to obtain over this bullshit too. My home security system caught it on camera and all charges against me were dropped but the city of Seattle refused to cooperate with me pressing charges. Even when I posted the story and link as evidence to Facebook the posts got removed and I was given a 30 day ban. Women I was friends with actually called me an incel and gay etc and stated she must have pulled the knife out to defend herself when the video showed the entirety of the situation unfold start to finish.. I actually know 8 other men personally in my circle who are victims of assault and every single one of the perpetrators are free without consequence to this day.
@wanderingwixi2 жыл бұрын
That is so fucked. I'm sorry that ever happened to you, even if this doesn't rectify it at all. Nobody deserves to go through that. I wish people would actually believe victims, and the women in your life seem like terrible people. Just know that many people outside of your immediate people in your life will believe you and trust that it happened, many should have believed you in your immediate circle . You literally had evidence of it. I hope you're able to heal and I hope she rots honestly

This girl really needs a reality check. Her being 17 isn’t an excuse. I’m 18, only a year older than her, but I’m fully aware that if I were to do something like that, my young age would not be an excuse for it. No matter how young you are, there are consequences for your actions. Be it as little as turning in an assignment late in HS or college. You’d get marked lower for that. It’s not like the person grading your papers would say “oh yeah but they’re young and they make mistakes so I’ll grade it the same as everyone else”. Another example would be a little kid pushing another kid off a swing during recess, they’d get a timeout or even worse repercussions depending on the severity, it’s not like the teacher lets them get away with it because of their age. She needs to grow up and realise that when she does wrong, people can and have the right to hold her accountable.
