I'm quite new to this game I haven't beaten it yet. The atmosphere is top-notch and I've just got to the part where I need to navigate around some medical bay. Got a bit frustrated with this hyperactive dude and I still wonder if its senses are so sharp or it's just cheating :P Standing against best AI cheered me up a bit :P IMO the best AI I encountered so far was in F.E.A.R. Its only disadvantage was that it "debugs" itself too much, constantly revealing it's tactics by issuing loud commands.

From what I've heard and read F.E.A.R s AI is not really that smart, it's just has A TON of scripting behind it, I think there's docs online showing this in action. The commands you mentioned are based on this system as well. It's more like a really well crafted AI for the game its in but still very impressive, especially for its time! I would say that S.T.A.L.K.E.R has pretty smart AI, especially when you go to total conversion mods like Anomaly because it (usually) works in a open world setting.

Obviously, you haven't played F.E.A.R. I don't think that AI was matched to this day, and this game is almost 20 years old.

Alien isolation have bad AI worst in history of games, because he just cheating on hard level 🤣. Ai always know your position in game it is weaknesses AI 😂

@@_Clivey stop crying at him and making threats like a child, because he criticized the channel owner. The complaint is valid. Gorka is known for tutorials, and thats why people subscribe to him. Wtf was this vid? Was it an advertisement for something hes involved in? (No since he didnt make that game. So wtf was the point.) I dont want to waste time listening to a summary/speech vid that was designed to be a specific length so he gets ad rev, but without teaching us anything. I was waiting for him to say "and to achieve this effect in UE5 we do this _." But he didnt even say the exact AI method, e.g. Blackboard or Blueprint or something new in UE5x. So this vid is useless. I dont want a tutorial channel telling me 'so and so did this' and using all this word salad - when it is not specified what exactly the tech is in UE. (B was not given to match A so we cant even look it up ourselves.) If he had researched the game and found out the methods they used, then this vid would be valid.
