Honestly, this is probably the only flat ride in the entire world that genuinely scares me. I can't imagine feeling negative G's that intense without instantly passing out...

Korten knows how to control a Capriolo
@DiaryofaRollerCoasterGirl5 жыл бұрын
Interestingly, it appeared to be on an automatic cycle as it was doing the same each time, unless the guy is an absolute boss at the controls and gets it spot on every time 👌🤣
@pacman22XD4 жыл бұрын
@@DiaryofaRollerCoasterGirl Maybe, I don't know that much about how they are operated tbh haha. If it's an automatic cycle, at least it's a very good one! You can find loads of Capriolo's with cycles without a single full head dive through the station
@BoyRoy184 жыл бұрын
@@DiaryofaRollerCoasterGirl It is NOT automatic!!!!! All hand controld. In fact, when you go upside down over the "station", is illegal in some countries, there it needs to be disabelt. It's considerd to intens. Imagen you get between 3,5 and 4 G's of forces normaly when you go around... so now upside down. Coasters ar only allowed to make -1.5G's or -2 if its a quice pop of less then a second... This makes -3.5G's fore a long time
@DiaryofaRollerCoasterGirl4 жыл бұрын
@@BoyRoy18 the only reason I suggested that it might be is because it was running the exact same cycle all evening!

@@DiaryofaRollerCoasterGirl I know :) Alot of ride opperators (op the european fairs atleast) have a basis program in there head. My boss of a break dance has his own ride cicle in its head and is everytime the same but is done by hand. The opperator of Eclyps can control his ride in his sleep, and this make it look like a automatic programe ;)

I was wondering, is the restrainer the loose type of the one that sticks to the body? I can see the metal bar shaking so just wondering if you remember.
@DiaryofaRollerCoasterGirl4 жыл бұрын
If I remember correctly, it has the same style restraint as a Top Scan, so quite big and bulky and automatically lowers until it secures you in!

I don't think that sounds like a very fun sensation, hence my other comment I left here.
@BlueZirnitra6 ай бұрын
@@Sokobansolver Well there's only one way to find out why people enjoy it so much, rather than armchair analysing it on KZbin. Until you ride it, you have no idea what it feels like and your opinion is irrelevant. The Capriolo is like spicy food, its kind of punishing but that's the point. People can embrace being pushed to their limits, it's exciting for them.

You should do it though. This ride taught me that there are rides out there that don't give a fuh if you're weak. This footage reminds me of the time I went on one and I just couldn't believe how much it pushed my boundaries. It leaves no room to say "oh it hurt my neck". You know after the first flip that you're going to be challenged physically. That's the whole point. Feeling truly dominated by a ride. I honestly think it you put a G Meter on this thing on a wild cycle you would see repeated figures that would knock the wig clean off any health and safety executive.

Really amazing Ride but Cyber Space is a little bit better, they control it little bit more intense. They gone every Ride 3 or 4times in a row upside down through the Station, the most intense but most wonderful feeling on a Ride. My Record at Cyber Spaace was 25rides at one Day Franfurt Dippemess2010.
@BlueZirnitra6 ай бұрын
The inverted through the station thing is cool but honestly these things are at their best when they are unstable, rocking back and forth. You get some really cool ejector G's inverted but those rocking motions at the bottom of the swing can be incredibly intense, slamming you with oscillating forces. Those are the times where people are literally gasping for breath, and are what really make the Capriolo special.
