I bought an Orfeus P-bass last week for €100 from a guy I know. It is already one of my favourite basses ever, I stuck some half-wounds on it and I just cannot get enough of it. It sounds INCREDIBLE through the Mark Bass LMK and Ampeg SVT 4x10 Classic. Boom and growl for days, weeks even.

All Orpheus guitars and basses are so good you wouldnt believe .We in Istanbul are lucky. Bulgaria is our neighbor We get some of them every now and then. I have had one SG shape H base and one Höfner violin shape 6 string guitar , my friends are using them now ,bassist prefers it over his Fender Jazz, I currently have a flattop electric and a really weird archtop electric Fantastic pick ups on all :)))

I live in Plovdiv, the city in Bulgaria where these Orfeus guitars were made. One of my bandmates has one, a strat copy, it's beautiful to play but a very fat neck. We're about as far from Ukraine as New York is from Florida BTW.

These were kind of mass-produced for about 30 years at a factory in Plovdiv, Bulgaria. I have one, it's gorgeous and only cost me €100.
