I struggle with my acrylics, usually on a canvas poured as background. The texture makes it really tough to do realistic, intricate subjects. It always is abstract, but such a tedious journey. Thank you!🎅

Something I’ve had to learn the hard way is patience in layering. Layering your paint adds depth. (Most of the time) if you watch again the entirety of the trees being painted. it is quite fascinating. You can slow the playback speed and REALLY look. By moving across the canvas it allows some drying time between layers.

If you have the sky laid in at an angle so should be the reflection. Otherwise great monochromatic.. depiction.

How foolish to create beautiful muted bushes and trees in the background that would have added to the depth of field, only to cover them up with the darker foreground bushes! Bad mistake in my opinion

Evolution of the artist's vision...you will note that a few of the initial line of trees still are visible.
