- Has to use a special flute to wake up Snorlax to fight it. - Snorlax uses Rest in the fight, making him easier to catch. 🤨

@@Bulliegh My joke is that you can't even throw the Pokeball until you USE the flute to engage the Snorlax in battle. And if it uses Rest, it's easier to catch. It's just a funny situation, considering the mechanics of the game.

If this Snorlax is the one from Kanto, then right behind the trainer would be a dock, some fishermen, and the ocean. So that Snorlax is gonna knock a few people into the sea and/or cause a large wave before sleeping with the fishes 🐟

Or, you take the route with the other Snorlax, get HM-04 in Fuchsia City, get Lapras in the Sylph Co, fly back to Celadon City and take care of that Snorlax

I love how the trainer runs off before anyone can come looking for who sent the snorlax their way. I always wondered why you had to wake snorlax up, just start wailing on it and when its HP gets low throw a pokeball to catch it.

When Snorlax' HP is low, it uses Rest and even then, being awake or asleep, in Yellow you often miss trying to catch it. But as soon as you leave the battle, it disappears forever.

Or just climb over it. Or hop the fence. Or call animal control (pokemon control?). Or spray it with Water Gun then use ice beam on it to shock it awake with cold.

You know you can probably just climb over Snorlax’s body. He's such a heavy sleeper it's actually canon that children use his bouncy belly as a trampoline.

I love the detail of the Aipom watching. It's not a Gen 1 Pokemon, it technically should be more common in Kanto... Kanto and Johto are so close they actually shouldn't have that many Pokemon unique to the region....

Don't even need Strength. Just climb over it or hop the fence lol. Plus machamp can punch things into orbit so strength wasn't needed in any form.

thats not the most logical. the most logical would be just throwing a ball. you usually wake it up just so you can put it to sleep in your fight to catch it...
