People who wonder why so many others loved Naruto but they could not see it. All they can see is the fighting that they settle for and tend to miss the underlying message that the show puts in plain sight. The Pain Arc did a great job showing us why the shinobi world was perpetually at war throughout its generations and what it would take to finally put an end to all the suffering and pain. “We are but men, drawn to act in the name of Vengeance we deem to be "Justice". Reminds me of one of my antagonists in my fictional stories this character in my own story is so complex and has his own goals to vanquish the world of evil and hatred. Man, I love Naruto so much. It really did teach me to keep going no matter what, and I know quite a few people say it, but it’s true. This was the first anime I ever watched after Pokémon, and it’s one of the only ones that has painfully long arcs but has kept me hooked through and through. When something is indoctrinated from birth to ne normal like national pride for your Village. And that killing is just part of everyones life who becomes shinobi. Its why all shinobi in the manga kill without making a big fuss. Nagato opened his eyea to facts young leaf ninja are never taught. Like how his smaler village was exploided and raided. And then left to fend for the scraps. Like our real life "good life" in Asia or the west is bound to child labour and exploitation so fubctions the Ninja world. No media tells you this, no teachet will unless they belive in it go out of their way to teach it etc. It is sweet obliviousness. In the end Pain was the man who knew the road to peace. Pain ideology is to bring true peace by giving pain and suffering. Which in end proves true, whole world become peaceful cuz they felt the same pain but just for some period of time.
