I still keep thinking about the Malaysian airline disappearance. I simply can't wrap my brain around the fact that a plane full of people can just disappear into thin air without a trace. It boggles my mind that there were enough of those to make a top 10 video.

Two facts that make it slightly less unbelievable: 1) Malaysian military’s preference for secrecy (and they’d argue security) in the immediate aftermath massively sabotaged the rescue efforts. Had they cooperated fully from the start, there’s a significantly better chance that we’d have at least found much more of the wreckage, and far quicker. 2) Satellite coverage, even as recently as 2014, wasn’t nearly as broad as it is today (2023). While there’s still gaps today, they’re not nearly as large. So if a future MH370 event occurs, we should reasonably expect to understand their trajectory far better. Ultimately in many ways it appeared to be a perfect storm of unfortunate events.

No proof, for instance the Pan am 914 flight, if it isn’t fake, (which I don’t dis believe it but I dont believe it at the same) then the same thing could have happened, they probably just ended up landing in the middle of nowhere and ended up dying.

What about the Learjet that disappeared en route from Athens to Jeddah in 1979? The plane was picked by Cairo ATC, but disappeared about 250 miles south west of Cairo. In 1987 the plane was eventually found by a search party in the middle of the desert, but it had apparently been stripped of all of its furnishings by passing nomads. No sign of the occupants was ever found.

for those wondering why MH30 wasn’t here and want some information on it, apparently, the pilot had been practicing a different route on his flight simulator at home. it was also discovered that both the pilot and copilot had been experiencing mental problems. with the pilot recently experiencing a divorce and the copilot experiencing some relational problems. it’s e speculated that this flight was a suicide mission. now this is just a speculation so this could possibly not be true but this is what seems reasonable to me.
