I had pretty bad acne. I totally recommend quitting dairy. As soon as I got rid of dairy, I didn't even break out during my period, my period became more regular, and my skin wasn't oily like it used to be. :)

Yeah, I haven't been eating dairy lately and it's definitely been helping! But I still get some breakouts even though I'm also taking spironolactone. Ugh, it's been a struggle!

For acne I can recommend the brand COSRX. I use the Salicylic Acid Exfoliating Cleanser for a chemical peel once a week. I Love using Low Ph Good Morning Gel Cleanser and AHA/BHA Clarifying Treatment Toner every day. The cleanser works great against breakouts and cleaning the pores. The Toner is great for pore tightning and helps them to be open.

I used to have really big acne on my whole face, but what worked for me was apple cider vinegar as toner! Been using it for months and I only get the occasionally hormonal acne during that time of the month 😉 and don't forget to moisturize even if you have oily skin like me!

Claire C I'm not Fei, but rosehip oil is a great natural alternative to heal acne scars. You can get a decent priced one from the brand Sukin. This one is great because it doesn't have all of the preservatives it it. Don't be afraid to use oils if you have oily skin. Good luck with healing your scars! :)

Do oil cleansing. It really works. Or use either of these 2 face masks: 1. Honey and lemon face mask, or 2. Sandalwood powder and rose water face mask. The 2nd one really really works in brightening the skin too.

I had a face full of scars like two months ago and they are almost all gone because of this serum i use from The Ordinary. It's 10% Niacinamide and 1% zinc (you can research those ingredients if you want) but basically it inhibits the melanin production (scars) and controls sebum. It's amazing and only $6
