@karinalumen9722 the problem is "psych major" is as close to "actually knows what they're doing with psychology" as a little league soccer player is to FIFA. You can get there, but you have a lot to learn and saying, "I'm a psych major, sooo [I'm going to people watch and analyze people]" is a very cringy way of saying you don't know what you don't know. Also, being a psych major could mean anything from you've just picked your major but haven't started classes yet to you're a day away from your degree. I am also of the belief that your undergrad degree has very little to do with who you are and who you're going to become so talking about yourself in terms of what degree you're GOING to get is cringe, even though I and a lot of my classmates did a lot of this the first two years of school. The difference is that we didn't have Tiktok yet, so the only people who saw us be this way were our Facebook friends

There was exactly ONE birthday party where I actually had a problem with, and it really wasn't even because of the party itself, it was just the fact that people were being so unsafe and I felt like I had to play party pooper by taking everyone's keys because I genuinely was afraid they'd try to drive while extremely intoxicated. I also spent the whole night taking care of people who were puking, cutting people off from the drinks when they were much too drunk, and keeping people from hurting themselves. The only reason I had a problem with that party was cause I felt like I couldn't just relax and have fun or at least one of my friends was gonna end up dead from something EXTREMELY preventable.

Its the fact that she's done this BEFORE too, she literally has a storytime series where she talks about how horrible it was that her friend was upset with her when she tried to make her FRIENDS BRIDESMADE party in Vegas about what SHE wanted to do.

Not having fun at a party? Then make it your mission to have some fun! It's not others' job to entertain you!

When people say I am an honest person, it is often code for I am an asshole to people but stuff their feelings because I was just being honest. At times I’ve not enjoyed things I’ve been invited to but I’ve still always been gracious and thanked the people for inviting me and said I had a good time.

The fact that she didn’t have fun at a party that she wasn’t even invited to says more about her personality than anything else. I think that some of the best people can make anything fun. Life is too short.
@trashteriyucky3 ай бұрын
Also the fact that she expected an open bar, like girl do you not know how to have fun sober? Cause from the Vegas story it seems like she doesn't.
@hptwillightfan1233 ай бұрын
She did not even need to say anything about her time at the party. Saying she needs to "be honest" and saying "this is my opinion and I'm not changing it" are hiding the fact that the issue isn't that she didn't have a good time, but that she publicized it for no reason whatsoever. She didn't need to respond to the person asking if she had a good time and certainly didn't need to make a video about it. Heck, even if it was a regular brand event I doubt she always has to give a review of what went on, whether she liked it or not. It took more effort to make the multiple videos and posts than it would have to just not say anything.

It seems she hasn't yet grown out of her high school mean girl phase. She reveals her mindset from the beginning - going there to judge and keke, instead of just going there to party, fun and meet new people.

Its so tiring when people just use the 'oh it's just my opinion' as an excuse to talk shit, you trying to make shit smell like roses when everyone can smell the shit. Just be honest and say you wanted to shit talk and then realise there will likely be consequences to shit talking, especially when you do it publicly!

I actually had a girl like this in high school I thought she was my friend. She was on my cheer team and I invited everyone bc it was my sweet 16 and my parents spent a lot (we didn’t have a ton of money) she convinced a lot of people to not go and showed up her self and literally gave me a hug when I was crying bc I felt bad that my parents spent so much but then she proceeded to post on her close friends story about how my party was so lame and it was annoying that I was crying how much it sucked. I got sent a screenshot and felt so horrible. I don’t have birthday parties anymore. Thank you for calling this chick out it seriously hurts to be in the receiving end of what she’s doing.

The people who make their major their entire personality have always been embarrassing. It’s their lack of humility and constantly weaponizing the topic. But to be clear there is nothing wrong with leaving a party when you are tired and/or not having fun. However dragging the party on the internet is not necessary.

Oh my. When she talked about being a psych major and wanting to analyzing people…. I am almost done with my Master’s in clinical counseling and I cannot imagine going to a party wanting to “analyze”. Sure things come up in a group setting or out with friends where my therapist ears stick up but I am off the clock! There is no diagnosing or wanting to give my friends or family therapy in the streets as 1) extremely unethical - dual relationships, informed consent, etc. 2) my identity is not based in what I do for a career. I am curious what she is wanting to do with her degree when she is done. Thank you for covering this topic! You have a new subscriber.

I had the absolute worst/best birthday last year. Best in the fact that I FINALLY had a much needed hysterectomy 2 days before my actual bday, and worst in the fact that I found out which family & friends who would be by my side when I needed them. It was a very quiet & lonely birthday & recovery

At this point I am sick that people even discovered that you can make money being an influencer. It's like being in an MLM. Everyone thinks they can do it and embarrasses themselves in the process. They all need to get a real job, but people will watch the ridiculous drama.

So many influencers are incredibly entitled. I went to Italy a few weeks ago and it was a place with a lot of wealthy people (like old money millionaires). I saw so many of these young influencers filming themselves and acting like they were better than everyone. I’m pretty sure no one had any idea who they were😂 They were so stuck up and rude to the waiters and didn’t even tip. Imagine going to a restaurant with a €5000 handbag but not leaving a tip
