Back when these types of shows were the type of prime time television that we used to watch for fun and daily entertainment, times across the country were much better for everyone. Nowadays, everyone's lifestyle is nothing but a mirror-image reflection of the crime, hatred, violence, and other nonsense we see on today's prime time programming. Back when game shows such as these, and series like "Bonanza, Little House, and The Walton's, Etc." were still being produced for television, society (as a whole) still actually walked around with a smile and look of peace in their eyes, and they would even wave at you (as if they knew you) while approaching your vehicle when driving. Back in those days, we could still leave our rifle, shotgun, and 22 hanging in the rear pickup truck windows with the windows rolled down while we shopped, and never once worry about someone stealing them. They can't tell me (and make me believe) that television hasn't had a major impact on our daily life. The people haven't changed - our subliminal training has; compliments of greed, power and government.

I believe a lot of the drama we see in our society today is not only what is mirrored from television programming (emphasis on 'programming'), but also the crazy video games people allow their children to play... well, actually, a lot of adults are hooked on video games now, too, which is another story for another day. But I do agree with you that what people allow themselves to watch plants seeds that will take root and sprout within them. Unfortunately, society reaps the bad harvest of unwanted crops.

My favorites to date are Dick Martin on Password given the clue “kith” to get him to say “kin”. He guessed “thmooch” for “kiss”. Some guy on Family feud answered the question, “name the month a pregnant woman starts showing” and he said September. Most recently my favorite is a woman on Family Feud who answered the question, “what’s Popeye’s favorite food”, and she danced around saying “chicken”. What made that funnier was that it was shown as part of a reaction video and a teenaged boy shouted out, “Popeye’s is the greatest!”
