The T-34 1940 in War Thunder is the earliest version of it's kind.
it sits at a Battle rating of 3.3 where it secretly dominates tanks like Panzer 2s, 3s and panzer IVs!
The T-34 (1940) plays like any other soviet T-34s , just that it being at such a low battle rating, it's armour is even stronger, especially when paired with some good angles.

I will admit I overlooked this particular T-34 and I actually didn’t play any of the T-34 tanks besides the STZ. I saw Oddbawz’s video on it and I thought “damn”.
