My Louisiana heart did have to giggle when you gave the multiple monologues about us covering our seafood with seasonings...just for you to order truffle oil on yours😆. I'm sorry, but that's fucking hilarious. I personally prefer crab and gulf shrimp over lobster and clams, and it isn't a particularly close race. I'm visiting New England for the first time later this year, so I hope the local joints can improve my opinion of your so-called heavyweights. Your video has me questioning if that will happen, but I guess we'll see!

@@michaelimondithereal well you already know of Reds….i heard you mention it, but they are definitely one of the best. I also stop at Days Crabmeat & Lobster in Yarmouth. If looking for chowders …Cindy’s in Freeport had some of the best chowders when I was there last, but it’s been years and the old man passed away who made the chowder so I’m not sure anymore

Portland is a city in denial of itself. It has no real identity. It's image and folklore imposed on it from the outside. Portland isn't hip or cool. But it has the things that make a hip and cool city. It feels forced on the people who aren't concerned enough to care. Being a restaurant city means nothing. It's just food. No big deal. I like bacon sandwiches. That makes me happy. If overpriced plates of food makes someone else happy good for them. The people aren't cool or creative. They're not sociable or spontaneous. They're smug, boring and as confused as the city.
