The neighbourhood looks stunning. Reminded of Portugal. The little streets, up and down. Narrow and wide. Nothing is predictable. That durum worth a try.

Bery…today me and my wife just “copied and pasted” your instructions while visiting Kuzguncuk. Well, my wife opted to sit down for a pastry while I walked up Bicanefendi sokak. The views were definitely worth the cardio+leg work out. Please keep on making these wonderful videos. 5:16

I took a long taxi ride from Balat / Fener (European Side) where I am staying, and....it was TOTALLY Worth it! The weather that day was more than Perfect! As soon as I got out of the Taxi, I knew I was in a very Special Place! Kuzguncuk is even Better than any Video... and THE VIEWS from the residential hills are SPECTACULAR! The air is Fresh, and all that Green is so Serene, and Tranquil. It reminded me of what San Francisco was like before Silicon Valley RUINED it! The residents of Kuzguncuk are deeply proud, and happy with their Shangri-la!
@blutao2 жыл бұрын
how do you compare Balat vs kuzgncuk? I was in Balat in 2019, climbed the hill to the famous Fener High school, colorfull houses, parks and cafes, nearby Aya Yorgi church.

my sister lives not far from Uskudar, been there and heard about Kuzguncuk but did not know much about it. Last time I was in Istanbul, I visited Balat. In Asian side, I enjoyed Kadikoy and Moda in particular a lot ( Fenerbahce fan here! ) . Will definately pay a visit to Kuzguncuk next time. I also remember taking a drive both sides of the Bosphorus along the way, actually driving through Kuzguncuk as well, to Black sea and enjoyed the few of awesone small towns/villages.
