Omo is quite good. Makes a TON of mana quickly and allows you to play all the best tribal cards in one deck. You are undervaluing the card for sure, it’s a low to mid A.

Jyoti is a food chain commander. Add a myth unbound and you just infinite cast and storm (Simic colors)

I wish that Hasbro would focus more on balance, rather than create a meta where people spending the most money win. 60 card formats are already bad to the point that alot of people run from it to commander for the sake of trying to use 70% of the almost useless card base for making even competent decks. Wonder why the game players are so toxic? and few people when asked say the game isn't fun.. that's a good reason.. Not every player who get's punished for not following a meta is going to invest more in cards.. it's going to make more people quit.

Players ruin their metas. Whether the game devs try to fix it or not is entirely an economic question for them. If people spent less time complaining and more time discussing what sort of game they want to play, with those they play with, than things would be infinitely better

Imho and just my opinion as a player since 98. People run to commander because it's more varied, is easier to get newer players into an actual game, and flat is just more fun. Yes all formats are p2w to an extent but i have long thought that if edh were the original format we probably wouldn't even have any other besides pauper.

So for Phlage, in higher level play, he is interesting because he is an infinite mana outlet in the command zone. For casual, I feel he falls into a similar setting as Firesong and Sunspeaker. Definitely feel he could have been B tier

I think Ulalek is higher A tier when you can cast an eldrazi with a cast trigger, stack the cast trigger, hold priority to tap ulamog’s dreadsire to create a 10/10 in response then trigger Ulalek’s ability to copy the eldrazi, copy the cast trigger, and copy the dreadsire ability. That’d give you two of the cast eldrazi, three cast triggers, and two 10/10 eldrazi creature tokens for the price of one eldrazi, two colorless mana, and a tapped creature.

the eldrazi are nutso but most dissapoint me in being wuberg... I thought the idea was that they are super stronk but would limit you too colorless identity only. The Ulamog does work for me though. Anyway the commanders i'd be mostly interested in are the Genku and the Tamiyo one... To bad they are in color identities i already have decks off

Why is Ulamong so much stronger than Kozilek all of a sudden. Is there a lore justification behind it? Additionally i am pretty much on board with all tiers for the commanders in this list.

Lore-wise, Ulamog is the first Eldrazi titan on a plane for a reason. Just look at his lackeys. Annihilator, huge stats, not many abilities. They straight up just exist to destroy, destroy, destroy. Physical obliteration.

For Cayth, famed mechanist, i could not find a lot of persist cards in those colors, i found 7, was wondering if i was missing something? Seems inconsistent for persist

Yeah I don’t think it’s an S tier based on persist. I wouldn’t have even thought to build it that way. I think it’s a B tier without persist

its defintiely not s tier, given you can field a total of 12 creatures with persist (6 colourless and 2 of each jeskai colour) and you would have to build almost all of your deck around specifically sacrificing, so youd be reliant almost dominantly on red / artifacts to get that infinite sac off. its enough to call it a solid A tier, but S? nooo. hes also heavily undervaluing satya i think, as id ssy satya should be close tp a tier too, given building ar9und it can cause serious chaos.

Idk if something like lightning greaves would break Nadu since equip abilities are at sorcery speed so you wont be able to equip one creature after another on the stack. Idk if you have to have something that targets mutliple creatures at once for this to work, but even if you only have this ability pop twice a turn, you get 8 triggers each turn cycle

the broken thing is that if you have 3 creatures and lightning greaves that's 6 triggers per turn. and that's without comboing! drawing 2 cards per creature you control (and putting any lands directly onto the battlefield) every turn is broken on its own, even at sorcery speed

My question is since an equip ability is at sorcery speed you target one creature and it resolves, meaning you just used one Nadu trigger, but if you have a card that targets multiple targets at once Nadu only recognizes it as one trigger?

Nadu gives the ability to the creature. So for each creature you control, you can trigger the ability twice.

You are misunderstanding how the ability works. Each creature on your board has the twice per turn stipulation. So you get two triggers per creature since they all have that the ability.

Nadu is out. Animar has 4 counters. Play ancestral statue, in response equip lightning greaves then unequip, bounce ancestral statue. Play it again. Everytime it plays (I think) you get a counter on animar and can get lands in play and cards on field. Am I correct?

How are you equipping with the trigger on the stack

You can only put on equipment at sorcery speed unless you have something in play that allows you to do that at instant speed. Unfortunately, majority of the best cards that allow you to equip something at instant speed are all in white. Also, there's just better combos for Animar anyways. Nadu is better off as its own commander.

Instead of equipment you can pull this of using a targeting ability that triggers when Ancestral Statue enters the battlefield. Using Elegant Entourage as an example: • Ancestral Statute enters the battlefield. Both it and Elegant Entourage's abilities trigger. • Stack the triggers so that Elegant Entourage's trigger resolves first, targeting Ancestral Statue to give it +1/+1 and trample until end of turn. • Nadu's ability triggers and resolves. • Ancestral Statue's trigger resolves, returning it to your hand. • Repeat.

azlask will be 5 color bad yet good stuff. you have spawn cards which are bad but op. but the whole fact that its just colorless creature is silly. so you can set up artifact recursion comboes with retreiver/diver or you can set up eldrazi displacer combos with brood monitor like effects. Infinite death triggers which means infinite experience counters. though even playing fairly with spawn cards will be dumb when you can throw every experience commander in a 5 color pile.

thank you soooo much for undervaluing herigast.. i want to be the only one running sneak attack herigast... its super pushed to sneak in a 10-12 mana cost eldrazi and attack and enjoy itsbullshit, to immediately sac the eldrazi to emerge a second 10-12 mana cost eldrazi with emerge..imm calling it helldrazi and you heard it from me first lol

Oh hell nah, Rosheen in C tier is crazy. You can easily and consistently have a full hand of X spells and go ham with a minimum of X=14, which goes for hydras/Burn spells, ramp spells(which turn that temporary mana into future fixed mana). Underrated

I'm thinking the same today, watching at 0.75 speed just to understand the cards.... And sounds like Mitch is drunk too (because of the playback speed)
