Iv played against Arabella, and unless your just constantly remove her from the game people are going to be taken out of the game very quickly. Also being in red there are so many haste enablers that you could have a board of low power creatures and just take everyone out in one swing of Arabella. At the very least she is B tier if not low A tier.

This is one of my best decks and I've hardly optimized it. It's low cost and hits every player on attack. It's so easy to get a lot of tiny creatures/tokens on the board VERY early and put some protection on Arabella. It's a high B for sure.

Baylen + Token Doublers + Hare Apparent is just so satisfying to pull, because you get to a point where you draw your entire Deck (especially if you have Skull Clamp) and get it to astronomical stats.

The problem with Bello is that he *revolves* around other cards that are +4 mana and that's inherently a less optimal strategy because your 99 will be too slow any time your commander isn't around. And as anyone who plays at higher levels knows how prominent cheap removal is, so it will be very common to get him removed if everyone knows the rest of your deck are cards that are more expensive than theirs. After all, something that costs 4 mana doesn't break even with 2 cards that each only cost 2 mana. One just removes your 4 drop and the other creates board presence, all for the same amount of mana as your 4 drop. Maybe in the long game, you might get the card advantage to help you, but most games at higher levels of play don't make it into the long game. It's the same problem Aminatou, Veil Piercer has. That doesn't make them unplayable, just significantly less powerful than commanders that don't revolve around +4 mana cards.

It’s so funny to see all the casuals in these comments, I knew the moment I saw this video that there would be large gathering of players arguing that their consistent Turn 5-6 wins constitute an A or S tier Commander. Realistically, I don’t understand why Kinnan or Kenrith are even ON THIS LIST, because none of the other Commanders even belong in B tier if they’re on the list, besides maybe Storm and Baylan at B. No one should be playing Kinnan or Storm at a Casual Pod (Kenrith can be built casually, though), they’re cEDH decks. Also, what was the criteria for being ranked on this list? It seems like such a half assed concept, ranking tons of Commanders from different time periods against each other, what is the POINT?! If it was ranking recent Commanders, why is Kinnan and Kenrith here? If Kinnan and Kenrith are here to provide context on power, why is Nekusar here?! I must’ve missed something in the video somewhere, because it seems like the Commander choices were completely random hogwash…

he means using zimones other effect, which when a land enters you can flip up a face down permanent. Evolving wilds, put omniscience face down, crack evolving wilds search forest, flip omniscience face up.

With my goblin deck, I take advantage of the commander ability, a mill hell out of my opponent with the author of the brood. And I got 2 red enchantments that's go whenever a creature were power, 2 or less attacked, that player take one damage for each attacking creature.

Last commander game i partook in had to be a fast one due to time restrictions (about to do a sealed event so had to finish it fast). I chose my Nekusar deck, and my 2 opponents played Valgavoth (version on here) and Yurlok. It was FAST and sooooo damn violent, probably the most violent i've ever partaken in, but also one of the funniest games i've played in a long time 😂 it's so liberating when everyone agrees on going totally ballistic, and it just shows how damn effective the commanders are.

elf ball is mono green, making it celesnia is the best combo, golgari is second, gruul is the slowest. just being able to not need to swing is an advantage.

Deffo hasn't played against a proper Valgavoth deck... 9 games out of 10 you're not even swinging Val at people, you're just putting up a ton of pings with damage double and triplers. They're dying to burn most of the time.

I don't agree with you that Storm is an S tier commander. I don't see how it possibly stands up against zur and etc. Storm feels like a commander where you would typically win turn 5-8 if you weren't interrupted. I have an Estrid the mask deck and she's strong, but I'd reckon she's as strong as Strom Force of Nature is if not stronger..... (I do run Nexus of Fate and savor the moment in my estrid deck).
