@@emelia1522 It wasn't borrowed, but Ron went to Hogwarts equipped with hand-me-downs. "I've got Bill's old robes, Charlie's old wand and Percy's old rat". The point being that until his broken wand was replaced, he was wasn't getting the best from his wand because it hadn't chosen him.

Ron is so underated. He had a second hand wand for the first 2 years of his education and in the 2nd year it was broken. He improved in 3rd year with a decent wand. He was battling death eaters at age 15, he was part of the trio that saved the day a million times.

While I agree with your list, I would move Ginny up higher than Fred and George at least. The books mention many times that they were terrified of her, she was particularly skilled with many types of difficult magic, and she survived the Battle at the Ministry, Battle of the Astronomy Tower, the Battle of Hogwarts, and possession by Voldemort. She was also very athletic, going into professional Quidditch playing for the Holyhead Harpies. All of those are tremendous feats.

I agree if we are specifically talking fighting skills, which was Ginny's most notable area of expertise, but magical power is more than just straight on fighting. Fred and George were very powerful enchanters, creating artefacts that left even Hermione baffled and impressed.

But to be fair Fred and George were more well rounded wizards. They’ve invented their own spells, potions and artifacts. Ginny may be able to out duel or out hex them, but they have a deeper understanding of how spells and potions are created and when given time they can not only improve upon long standing things, but also create brand new ones. Ginny is more of like a textbook badass were as, in my opinion, fred and George are the inventors of a new form of warfare if they put their minds to it. (Like imagine if they put all their effort that they spent on pranks into magical weaponry) But all in all I think if the weasleys made themselves an army the world would be screwed. Ron as a commander (his chess skills applied in real life), Ginny as a front line fighter, Fred and George as trap and spell makers, Percy and Arthur as the political diplomats, Bill as the curser and curse breaker, Charlie as the animal wrangler (aka riding dragons into battle), and molly as the healer and home base protector. Honestly the world would be doomed. They bred an army and failed to utilize them to their full potential

He literally got a wood and core combination that was the worst possible one in terms of passing it down. Ash wood(I think it’s ash wood) with unicorn hair makes a wand with a nearly unbreakable connection to its first owner. Ron even before his wand broke had his power cut in half or more using it.

I adore Molly. Throughout the books she always shows how talented she is at everything. I was always impressed by how immensily good she is at charms The only time she failed was when she had to face a boggart and it had nothing to do with her magic skills but with her emotions. I always actually found it crazy that Ron was the only known person to ever be both prefect and team quidditch player at the same time although he kind of got lucky being picked at either of those things it's still kind of impressive that he achieved both and yes the Weasley family was actually very strong none of them were really weak at all and all of them have been successful in life there definitely one of the most powerful actually to be honest probably even the most powerful wizarding family and really the only what people call pure blood family to not hold any perfidiouses against anyone who's not pure blood there definitely legends in alot of senses

I really hate to be the grammar nazi, but this calls for it. Plus, I'm an English Major and your post is driving me insane with the errors. Firstly, please learn to use punctuation. Reading a sentence should be done in one breath (pausing for additional breaths at commas), and that is impossible to do with your post as one would pass out from lack of oxygen if they tried. Secondly, please learn that it is incorrect to say "always actually..." One could say: I always found it..., or I actually found it..., or perhaps even Actually, I always found it... Thirdly, while I don't remember Ron being both Quidditch player and Prefect (except while looking in the Mirror of Erised - which he was actually Head Boy in), I admit that it has been a while since I read the books so I may have simply forgotten it. Fourth, there are differences between the words there, their, and they're. There is used when referring to a location (i.e. it's over there). Their is used when referring to a possession of someone else (i.e. that bag is theirs). They're is a contraction of they are. An example of all these in one sentence is: That bag over there is theirs, but they're still shopping. Finally, I commend you on correctly spelling and using the word perfidious in a sentence, although I'm confused how you managed that with all the errors in your post.

It really depends on when you are setting the list. If you're saying "how powerful at the end of Deathly Hallows," then Percy is probably more powerful than Ron. If you're calibrating at some notional "full strength" power, Ginny arguably belongs at the top of the list, more powerful than Molly.

We made our lists based on where they were as ADULTS. It’s not really fair to rank 11 year old Ginny and 12 year old Ron up against their adult siblings. Here’s our lists: 1 Molly 2 Bill 3 Ron (he eventually grew into it) 4 Ginny (it’s mentioned many times that she was an outstanding witch) 5 George 6 Fred 7 Arthur 8 Percy 9 Charlie (wouldn’t rank him higher because he’s barely mentioned - not sure how he’s so high on your list) My BFF’s list: 1 Molly 2 Ginny (again - mentioned multiple times in the book for her skills as she grows up) 3 Ron (by the end of the series) 4 Arthur 5 Bill 6 George 7 Fred 8 Charlie 9 Percy

Just to toss in a few additional random factors: Percy outduels the Minister of Magic one on one, so he should be higher. I don't think we have enough information on Charlie, so he is last just due to lack of data. Arthur was chosen to lead a platoon onto the grounds of Hogwarts by Auror Kingsley Shacklebolt so he must be a combat ace. The statement about Ginny being so powerful was made by George in front of Fred and Ron, which almost sounds like they are acknowledging she is stronger than they. And Ginny was complimented by Slughorn for her excellent skills, won many duels and was an equal to Hermione and Luna during the duel with Bellatrix. Gred and Forge are recognized as extrordinary magicians by Hermione when she visits the joke shop, so clearly they are great. And poor, underappreciated Ron, among everthing else he did, is only the third wizard to penetrate the chamber of secrets this century along with Ginny and Harry, and Ginny had help while Harry was a true Parselmouth. I downgrade Bill because he got beaten by Fenrir Grayback who isn't supposed to be all that hot at magic (easily beaten by Bellatrix) but of course Fenrir could have attacked when Bill's back was turned. I go 9. Charlie, 8. Bill, 7. Percy, 6 Arthur, 5. Ron, 4. Fred, 3. George, 2. Ginny, 1. Molly. Can't argue against Mother Molly, the bane of Bellatrix LeStrange!

I agree with your list, except I'd put Charlie ahead of the twins in 3rd. We know Charlie's job is to face one of the most dangerous creatures in the HP world, and we know that Fred and George didn't dare bully or tease Charlie because of his brawn. We can also infer from Ron using Charlie's wand in years one and two that Charlie either a) didn't need a wand to do a job [having travelled a lot maybe he learned how the African wizards cast spells without a wand] or b) he'd got another wand [maybe having outgrown his wand, or needing one with more power. Which is notable, because the only time we ever see anyone change their wand is when it breaks or they upgrade, or they fear twin cores causing unseen side effects].

We still know he was an accomplished Wizard just based off of his family history, and his job. But we have never seen him duel, preform magic, or have a full list of all his accomplishments. Hence why he goes at the bottom since all the other characters have proven themselves countless times yet we haven't seen Charlie do that. That's still enough info to include him, and being last doesn't mean the weakest in his case its just that we know he is an accomplished wizard but haven't fully seen everything he can do. I would rank Molly and Charlie lower. For Charlie, I feel like we do not have enough info. Yes, he was working with dragons, but I feel like that is not enough to be able do judge since we did not really see him in other situations. In the books he is just a sketch of a Weasley. For Molly, yes, she killed Bellatrix and was a great home-spells-master witch, but I feel like she was not as an accomplished comparing with the others on the list who had much more experience in the field. I agree with Bill and the twins and Ginny should probably be higher.

Ginny Weasley - constantly described as small but deadly and caught the eye of Slughorn who only has a taste for powerful witches and wizards 3. Bill Weasley - is a curse breaker for Gringrotts 4. Charlie Weasley - battles Dragons for a living 5. Fred & George Weasley - made Weasleys Wizard Weazes from scratch and even Ron said that it was amazing how they made them 6. Ron Weasley - has moments of brilliance in danger and is actually quite powerful in defence as Tonks said so while he was being attacked by death eaters 7. Percy Weasley - held his own against Rookward and other Death Eaters 8. Arthur Weasley - as far as I know I think ha is just like an average graduated wizard ( I have also ranked these based on their age and size)

Percy was dueling far better than most and joking around while facing Thicknesse. I think in terms of skill he was heavily underrated in this ranking. His academics were on par with Hermione. I highly doubt he would lose a duel against most of them. He was Head Boy and Prefect for a reason. I get that he was the most unpopular Weasley, but I don’t see Ron, Ginny or even George winning in a straight duel. We never really got to see Charlie or Bill really duel either. But all three brothers went with their father to stop the death eaters at the Quidditch World Cup.

Molly also used charms to make her domestic life easier, knew cooking and healing magic, she was a very well rounded adept witch. I think Ginny should have been higher. I think it was 2nd or 3rd year she was mastering hexes, and Ron was a brilliant wizard who needed the right tools for his talent to flourish. He beat McGonagall's challenge in sorcerer's stone.

Here's how I'd have it, from weakest to strongest (note: I ranked Fred & George together as a single entry): 8. Percy (you know you're dealing with a very powerful wizarding family if _this_ is the weakest link; his uptight nature is what sabotages him) 7. Ginny 6. Ron 5. Arthur 4. This ranking is sort of like saying which fruit is best. They're all good, they're just different. No one beat Fred and George on creating new things or adapting and manipulating known magic. But they knew not to piss off Ginny. Arthur enchanted a flying car. That survived a lot and saved the boys. Molly proved herself all over the place. I agree that Percy was more interested in political power than magical power. I don't think I'd give Charlie as much credit.... yes he dealt with dragons but we aren't really given much else about him. Ron was hindered early on by a hand me down wand but still holds his own later on (And honestly held his own ok with the old wand before it was completely broken). So yeah.... ranking them isn't really easy

I mean you can hate Percy for whatever he was during the 5th and 6th book but he was definitely more magically talented than some of the weasleys. 12 outstanding owls and he also went on to kill rookwood who killed fred in the battle at hogwarts.

Weakest to strongest: Percy (all brains but weak minded, he betrayed his family for his ambitions, and was constantly outshined by his two older brothers where he could never overcome, unlike Ron. Charlie (very strong but narrow minded, and too focused on work, to help out in the The Order of the Phoenix when needed.) George (very clever but always second fiddle to Fred who was the more dominant twin) Mr Weasley (a settler, very little ambition, he’s also easily distracted) Fred (the dominant twin with great ambition and probably the most loyal of the family) Bill (the most naturally talented, second to maybe Jenny. But easily overpowered by fear.) Jenny (the most naturally talented or equal to Bill, but probably has the least amount courage of the Weasleys, other than Percy of course. She was very much a Cedric Diggory, and probably was more suited for Hufflepuff) Ron (he might honestly be the most talented of all the Weasley’s but lacks confidence. He was performing non verbal spells in his second year with a hand me down wand. He might have even been 2nd to only Harry on a broom, when he was able to block each and every single goal in quidditch we he thought he had drank a Magic’s potion. Received 7 OWLS in all the subjects that mattered when he tried about as hard as Fred and George (maybe less) who only got 3. Became an Auror alongside Harry Potter and was probably the second strongest in defense of the dark arts. He was constantly outshined by Harry and embarrassed by Hermione but stayed strong and was the most logical of his 2 friends. Mrs. Weasley (she is Snape level power, she can perform multiple non verbal spells at once. She is the soul source of her childrens power and they all respect and fear her Wrath. She is a pure blood related to the strongest of the blacks and bested Bellatrix who was the strongest Death Eater.)

Yeah, besides the fact that there isn’t nearly enough info on at least half of the weasleys, there are a lot of assumptions in this, realistically, with what info we have, I’d have to say 1) Ron or Ginny 2)Ginny or Ron 3) Gred and Forge 4) molly, then the rest in some order. I based my list on age, and experience in what we know. This a tough list because how do you rate characters who are all different ages? I mean, I’m going by how I think they’d all be listed at their peak in life, I feel like because of their experience at such a young age, Ron and Ginny would be top of the list, then the twins. I mean how do you rate someone because of one scene in the books or movies?

Gotta say I'd almost flip most of this.. Just from the book knowledge on these characters. This isn't too say you're wrong and I'm right, as to know the information needed is just not shown enough. We're going to have to go by what was written only and, kind of guess. #9.. Percy easy.. Just nothing showing powerful magic use over the others. And if he was truly powerful I believe that would have been mentioned. #8.. Charlie,, again as in Percy's case. Nothing showing powerful magic use that would escalate him above the others. Working with Dragons shows skill and knowledge but he was not depicted as USING a lot of magic or demonstrating exceptional skill. #7.. Jenny,, This is a tough choice between 7 & 6/5 as it appears her innate power may well be above all the others to the point of 2nd or first. Her learning the patronus charm so quickly, attacking, defending etc. But compared to the others she isn't showcased enough. But I believe for raw power she could contend with her mother. #6/#5.. Fred and George.. Dueling, learning spells not only on their own but their ability to CREATE, yes joke items but CREATED spell joke items.. Their abilities like their sister is just not mentioned or shown enough but I BELIEVE that they may well be above Bill.. #4.. Bill,, His dueling ability alone along with ALL the fights he was in and WINNING. Along with his job.. Just places him above Jenny in this time frame. Again I believe Jenny is FAR more powerful than most of the others. #3.. Arthur,, His level of charms alone shows a master level of wizarding. Among so many other talents. Dueling REGULARLY against Death Eaters etc. And standing facing so many Death Eaters at the Battle of Hogwarts and won every fight. Only Ron fought them more. #2.. Molly,, not enough is shown other than charmed items and a howler UNTIL. She defends her home and Hogwarts and fairly easily beats Bellatrix. For RAW power she could simply be number one. But again not enough is shown. And because of the one fight she is placed here other wise she'd be at 8. #1.. Ron,, He has dueled and charmed and out foxed and with pure courage beaten soo many Death Eaters, Goblins etc. It's known that he goes on with Harry to remake the Ministry office in the area of Aurors. AURORS!! The elite wizards/witches of the world organization. Could Ron have beaten Bellatrix? Who knows but could Molly have been an Auror? In just POWER it's hinted that Jenny and her Mother might very well be far beyond all the men. I personally think in raw power they are. But as to what is shown and done. I would have ranked Arthur Weasley under Ron, mainly because Ron's first wand being passed down to him. Unicorn hair wands are loyal to their first owner/master and the wood wand sharing that bond. All the feats done during that time would massively increase his skill with practically a stick.

List before watching... 1. Ginny 2. Charlie 3/ Molly 4. Bill 5. Fred/George 6. Percy 7. Ron 8. Arthur (The TL/DR version up here lol) 1. Ginny: easily the most obvious. Magically gifted, and had 8 other people with varying skills in the house to learn from. And we see how strong her spells are throughout the series and easily she learns strong offensive magic, but with pure intentions. Plus she is so confident after a bit of a shy phase, and used that confidence to be bad ass. 2. Charlie: working with dragons would take a large amount of magic and strength, plus after years of doing so, would only get stronger. Not much explanation needed here. 3. Molly: the only Weasley we see truly duel another powerful witch/wizard [being Bellatrix] and then win with relative ease. Ginny's duel in the Half Blood Prince is aided by Felix Felicis, so I can't really count that, but either way, we know how I feel about Ginny's abilities, and Molly takes over in the Battle of Hogwarts, to finish Bellatrix anyway in Ginny's other duel [aided by other people anyway]. Molly is given the responsibility of watching over the Order Headquarters twice, and Harry after Voldemort's return. 4. Bill: the main Weasley we see doing scouting missions and other things for the Order more than any other Wizard in a physical capacity. Arthur's involvement really has more to do with information gathering and monitoring of the ministry and the dark forces at play. Molly doesn't really have an active role at all until the Battle of Hogwarts, but plays a major role at being the sole person responsible for watching over Harry each summer after Voldemort returns [Sirius of course, but that is really only for part of one book, and then he dies. Sorry not sorry, Sirius dying was an important narrative point and having him there longer would've changed Harry for the worse]. Bill was always ready to drop his stuff and assist in any task that needed to be done and got it done. Plus being respected enough by goblins both before and after Voldemort's return would mean he would have to be capable of handling himself. 5. Fred/George: I put them together not because they can't be separated, but because we just don't know who actually produced what magic. They were both wonderfully talented in transfiguration, which I can only guess is the class they both goth OWLs in, but were also inventive. Creating new forms of magic and spells is very complicated and dangerous, and the fact they were able to create things never seen before while still in school show their proficiency in magic. They don't ever really engage in duels or fights, preferring to end conflicts in ways their, opponent, can't retaliate [Umbridge, and all the fireworks/massive bog]. I would probably put Fred as the one with slightly more dueling talent as he is generally more confident, and also is the one to take charge, but there is an argument for George who is usually the on to smooth things over, which could indicate he is able to fix the messes they make more effectively. So, there is no real way to rank each one above the other. 6. Percy: Although I dislike Percy as a person, he was very intelligent. Achieving the joint highest OWLs in the family, and probably having the highest ambition, Percy was always destined for big things. Unfortunately, his allegiance, mental strength, and [in my opinion] lack of ability to fight off dark magic led him to stray from a path of power for the right reasons, limiting his potential in strength. Love is huge in HP, and the fact he had the least love to give throughout the series makes me believe he would have been the weakest Weasley during his time in the ministry, but as a whole, probably not. 7. Ron: I almost put Ron last, but after thinking, I believe he would be slightly more powerful than Arthur. Ron has a weakness for mental attacks, and is very susceptible to dark manipulation, but is pure at heart and always wants to do the right thing, even if he cant or isn't able to. Ron is average magically, but is still good enough in DA to achieve an E [assumed] and E's and A's in almost all of his subjects. Ron, after real training from Harry in Order of the Phoenix, is able to best Hermione at least 2 times during a disarming class, and able to act under pressure better as the series progresses [though I will say his knack of, hey let's use magic, due to growing up with it constantly really helps Hermione and Harry become better at being quicker whited with magic, Harry less so [3 spell Potter am I right?] Ron is great at many things, with confidence, which is his main issues and what keeps him so low. Ginny took one look at Ron feeling inferiors and said, 'Nope, I'm not going to do that'. Ron can't help but feel compared to half a dozen older versions of things he could've been but now sees as, "they've already done it', and that holds him back a ton. 8. Arthur: by no means is Arthur weak, but we never get to actually see him do anything significant with magic. We know his is in the Department of Mysteries but we never see him fight [as he is assaulted by Nagini], but we do see him stand up to Lucius Malfoy in CoS, and actually have an altercation, but it is a physical fight, no magic, and I assume it is because he knows he would lose that duel [and they were in a bookshop, but what ever]. Arthur is seen dueling once, but against an unknown, unnamed death eater, who I assume is only there to make his look like he is fighting his best. I believe him to have better ability at repelling mental attacks than Ron, but if Ron and Arthur were to duel, both in their primes, I think Ron would win. As I wrote, I felt the need to justify more of my placings, so that would be why is got longer each time lol

Decided to reply after rather than edit. Ginny being so low is weird to me. She is said to be very strong specifically, and is many years younger while learning the same spells her brothers do. In Order when everyone is learning spells, she understands them faster and better, plus has an affinity to specific hexes that are particularly challenging. Even Slughorn, master of seeing potential, picked her after seeing one spell on the train to join her club. the only person in the group without a previous family reputation for being famous (besides Hermione, but that is for her knowledge and probably more of a symbolic gesture to Harry who called out his possible prejudice). Of course she channels her success into quidditch, being a professional, but she has power. I understand her not being #1 on the list or even #2, but top 4 for sure I think. Percy wanting political power is like saying Lucius was not powerful because he wanted political power. Disagree here, even though I don't like him, he was better than his father and Ronny. (Ron and Arthur swapping is fine, as I almost did that) If the question was: who was more magically gifted, yes, I would put Molly and Bill top 2; but most Powerful is different. I would think Charlie fighting dragons, or more accurately raising wild dragons to be wild dragons, would require more "power" than curse breaking, which would take a good amount, but also more skill. Molly is basically a walking fairy godmother, and flicks her wand to do everything. Molly has mastered magic down to a Tea, which is being made as we speak in her kitchen, but her 'power' is only really shown once, and it is a feat of love (protecting her daughter and the one's she loves), so you could argue her win is given to her by a boost of love power, though I wouldn't say that. Charlie is living with, transporting, fighting, treating, and studying dragons, daily. That requires stamina, magic strength, and ability, which I think are the main points of "power". I guess I'm arguing Charlie #1 now even though I believe Ginny would win in a duel. Still, none of my comments are in hate, just my personal take and reactions to your list. I know it is a year old, but here I am now lol

I agree with your ranking. Ginny had phenomenal talent at quidditch being able to play two maybe more positions. I think if her passion lay elsewhere she would have ranked higher. I am glad you put Molly first. Being a parent and primary caregiver requires an expansive skill set, which allows her to pull strength from many avenues of magic.

Before video rankings. -Fred, because he is dead -Percy, I actually forgot about Percy, as too why it says edited above, but yeah not very powerful and not shown. -Arthur’s, don’t see much from him -Molly, pretty decent, does best when children in trouble -George, rather clever and inventive, good enough to keep him alive. -ginny, strong and confident but I don’t remember much more besides some impressive feet’s in order of the Phoenix. -Ron, he suffers from lack of motivation, but when he is confident enough he is the strongest in every category.

Aside from the parents I would say Ginny! Then maybe the twins, then Ron. The rest is muddled because we don't learn much about them. We do know that Bill can manage himself around goblins because he worked at the bank. Charlie can handle himself around dragons. The least powerful was Percy. He had so little confidence about himself that he borrowed the power given to him by being in authority of being prefect and head boy and then schmoozed with the ministry and used their power to boost himself. I think Ron is absolutely no slouch. He manages to scrape by in the shadow of his friends and with a hand me down wand. When the wand chooses the wizard that means he didn't have an ideal wand from the beginning. Then it got broken in the whomping willow. We think that he's kind of dull lazy and inferior to Harry and Hermione. His strength appears to be loyalty rather than magic. But he absolutely almost transfigured his rat which wasn't even an animal but was an animagus so it might not have worked at all but for his skill. He also was a decent flyer as would be needed for quidditch. The twins I think are second most because they must have been amazing to build an entire empire around jokes and !!magic tricks. Spells and potions and charms...amazing!...plus like any other entrepreneurs they would have had to idiot proof their products to work but be safe for their customers. Most powerful of the kids I think was Ginny. In her tangles with the diary and the chamber she learned quickly to surround herself with the right people. The youngest and only girl in a large poor family also made her tough, resourceful, and smart but also humble. At the same time as the youngest in a large family, the bar for success was set very high. Her parents pour into her, maybe newfound energy for their only daughter. So when she went to school wshe was already poised and didn't take her long to become confident. She also has strong social skills...she is a well rounded person. Lots of friends, and she is made stronger by her associations with Hermione and Harry. I do agree with you maybe including the parents...Molly is probably most powerful for all the reasons you said. She manages her home and family and it's not the easiest of how's or families to manage. She helped protect the castle. And then she defended her daughter.

Ordering my own list high to low: * Bill * Molly * George * Fred * Charlie * Ginny * Percy * Arthur * Ron Edit: After watching the video; I stick with my list; reason: * Percy may be vain and drawn to political power, this does require a lack of inability to perform spells and fuckups later and early on in life. Due to this you can be sure that he was more talented than Ron, who had to grow through adversity. Placing him higher for this reason. * Fred and George were very; very talented in specific aspects as magic, much like Charlie, I believe Charlie to be more versed in Charms and Fred & George to be more well rounded through other parts of magic. In a duel, I'd rather go against Charlie than Fred or George. * Molly defeated Belatrix and for sure, this speaks miles of her magical ability - but her state of mind and love for her children gave her the edge here, Love being the most important edge of all in the potterverse. With love, there's no way she could have lost here. Due to this, I rate her highly but not as highly as Bill, who is well rounded overall & doesn't need love to do so.

I would rank Ginny and Fred and George higher. Everyone always spoke about how amazed they always were at what Fred and George always made. Even Hermione didn’t know how they did it. And for Ginny, she is very impressive. Although she is the youngest out of 7 kids, she casted some wicked Hex’s and was super Talented. She’s not just Harrys Admirer, she’s extreamly powerful. Her first spell was at 9, the only reason she got invited to Slughorns party was because he was impressed by her skills, she learned how to cast her patrons early, she fought Bellatrix and dodged the Killing Curse, she helped The Twins with there amazing Spells, and lastly, it was her Idea too create Dumbledors Army. I think they all deserved it

It is a difficult list. However, Ron deserves a higher place on the list. Ron's magic took down a massive troll in his first year. In his second year some of his magical mishaps are due to a broken wand. Even then he managed to turn scabbers into a fury cup. Impressive with a broken wand, but even more so sure to scabbers actually being a full grown wizard. Surely, transfiguration is far more difficult to achieve on a wizard than a pet. Movie Ron may not have the same wit as book Ron, but either way it's very impressive for the age.

Don’t forget that when we first meet them both Ron and Neville have hand me down wands that never accepted them as master. Ron’s wand wood and Core were BOTH types that were reluctant to obey anyone but their first owner. Once he gets a wand that suits him, Ron improves very rapidly.

I think moly killing Belletrix is over amped because you have to remember that yes Belletrix was crazy powerful in everything especially dueling but she was very unstable mentally and like Dumbledor said in the half blood prince she did love to play with her food. Belletrix was prone to be arrogant and loose focus of the duel because she put all her energy in to taunting her enemy. So Belletrix got caught with her guard down because she never took molly seriously until it was to late if Bella would have dueled Molly the same way should would have dueled Voldemort or Alastor moody or even Dumbledore I am not sure molly would have destroyed her that easily

Looking at it from a whowouldwin perspective number 1 on this list is clearly Ron. He has the most combat feats and a better track record than any of the others and is the only one of them to become an auror. Molly has one combat feat against Bellatrix whom both Harry and Ron have defeated in earlier points in the books before she was saved by others. Bill and Arthur are assumed powerful but it isn't shown and the twins are shown to be good at magic, but have few dueling feats. This list is really Ron and Ginny with honorable mention to Molly and Arthur none of the others can really be ranked

Molly, Ginni, Arthur, Bill, Charlie, Fred and George, Ron, then Percy. I ranked Arthur higher, because he DID help raise Fred and George. Ginni is higher because I saw her as a very fast learner, and she had to ward off at least 4 brothers, if not all of them, when she was a kid. Brothers may be protective of a sister towards others, but it's every man for "himself" when it comes to family. Unless Mom and Dad are around, and then it's a challenge to see who will get caught. Am I the only one who thinks that Ron is a bit underrated when it comes to magical skills? We must remember that it took a while before he got rid of his older brothers wand, and got his own. With a wand that didn't choose him, it's very hard to learn magic. I think it's really powerfull that he still passed every year with a wand that wasnt his own, and was able to learn about magic with a wand that wasnt his own.

Ron couldnt learn the first 2 years from school properly, and sufferd all the following years becouse of it. It's like learning a new language, if u don't know the basic grammar the advanced grammar is even harder to learn, if that makes sense? I think it's amazing how Ron still was able to pass every school year, and that it makes him more powerfull than he seems.

I personally would put the twins above Charlie. Ron even mentions George transfiguring a teddy bear into a spider... most likely at the age of 6.... without a wand.

I always wondered what the battle of Hogwarts would have been like if Moody and Sirius didnt die. Seemed like lupin was in a position he wasn't powerful enough to be in. Sirius would have been perfect in that spot.

Not sure how I would change his rank (or if it should be), but Ron in 8th place just doesn't seem right to me. For the first 2 years of his schooling, he was using a hand-me-down wand (Charlie's old one, I believe). According to the books, after he broke the wand, his performance got markedly better the next year as his new wand was meant for him.

This list really depends on which area of magic (Ex. For magizoology Charlie would be first). Also every Weasle6 is a very powerful wizard in there own right so it makes it very difficult. Mrs. Weasley (her curse on Bellitrax) Fred (bewitchment) (equal to george in ranking) George (same as Fred) Ginny (hex) Charlie (magizoology) Mr. Weasley (bewichment/ member of the ministry so had to do well in school) Bill Ron(he’s more powerful because of his friends not his magic) Percy (did good in school)

I think that Ron should have been placed higher in the list. Actually both Ron and Ginny. Ron I believe was more powerful than Arthur. He had a borrowed wand in the first two years. He was not struggling with his self belief, he did not have the right materials. He did not have a wand that chose him. Ginny, I think was above the twins. Fred and George were absolutely exceptional magicians however, I think Ginny was greater. The Slug Club is one reason but remember in Order of the Phoenix, she absolutely stunned with her abilities. Allowing for her age, she was absolutely powerful. Plus she held her own in the battle of hogwarts. Do not forget that she did duel Bellatrix and survived before her mother stepped in and put an end to that story. If duelling Bellatrix was a big part of Molly's show of strength then Ginny could have made #2 on the list. Especially since her age suggests many more years of improvement and skill honing. For Molly, I do believe that she was #1 but I have additional reasons. Firstly, Molly seems to have the history. She and her twin brothers were a part of the resistance in the past before the twins were killed by death eaters Secondly, look at Molly's home. The description of her magical manipulation in the house. Many of the spells invented by her and her ability to multitask with them. To be able to properly provide for her family she had many spells going at once. Magic may have destroyed the need for innovation in that world but Molly is the best example of someone creating a means to make general life easier. Thirdly, her strengths are reflected in all her children. Fred and George - inventors and Innovators, Percy - ability to plan and organise people, Ginny - power and strength of character, Ron - dedication, not much known about Bill and Charlie but their magical ability and prowess seems to be her legacy in them too. Plus that magical clock shows sense and her determination to protect her family. A real Wolf in Sheep's clothing - in every positive way. I think yes, she is the most powerful Weasley.

They also never say Molly used Avada Kadavra against Bellatrix. It just says her spell hit her squarely in the chest and kills her. I always assumed whatever spell she hit her with she put enough power behind it that it killed her. I also had her as one and Bill as 2 but that's where we differed lol

every weasleys should be powerful but in my opinion: 1. Ron for being really brave, willing to sacrifice himself for others, destroying horcrux, and being a good friend 2. Fred and George for their ability to make really powerful joke items 2. Molly for killing Bellatrix rest are the same
