Omg you have a new subscriber I am also homeschooled I have been for my whole life and it is hard finding more teenagers that are homeschooled I am in Penn foster online school I’m a sophomore in high school and it sometimes it gets to much for me to handle but I always pull through I want to say always believe in yourself you can do anything you put your mind to!❤️ i love your videos btw keep growing in KZbin your channel will blow up like never before!🙌🏽

I just found your channel and I'm obsessed! This is my first year of online homeschooling and I love watching these type of videos to get motivated ( I struggle HARD with procrastination) and entertainment of course. I also started vlogging my homeschool days as well, and I love it! I'll be a senior next year and it'll be my last year of homeschool which really sucks because I like it much more then normal school and I really wished I switched over sooner. I love the idea of homeschooling cause for me irl school is so draining and the boarding school I’m at sucks how do I convince my mom to let me homeschool (I didn’t do good 2020 online school because I knew we still had to stay at school and it was draining because we still had to do things we would do at school all day and check in for 3 more hours even tho academically school was done) also love your singing and guitar I used to love playing but ever since I had boarding school I forgot how to play and never had time to.

I’m sorry that you’ve such a rough experience with school. I think the best way to convince your mom is to tell her how you’re feeling. It can be hard to feel it all the time, but parents care about you. If you’re having a really hard time, she may be more open to compromise. You can also show her some homeschool videos on KZbin from parents and students. This may help her see that it can be a better option. Even though you had a hard time doing online school in 2020, there are other online school programs that are more flexible. Some of them also have teachers that check on you and help you as well. These types of online schools are structured but still flexible enough to not be stressful. Also you don’t have to spend hours and hours doing school lol. Let me know if you need more help! 🩷

hi! i have been trying so hard to get my mom to let me do online/home skl. she is worried i wont be social enough ig. is their certain things u do to be social or like make friends? im new to ur channel but from what ive watched i love it! ur videos r so fun and really realistic

Thank you!!! To socialize, you can try to find homeschool co-ops in your area! It’s basically a group of parents and kids/teenagers that meet up (every week or something like that) and you can make friends that way. Some homeschool programs can give you access to that, but sometimes you have to do your own research to find one that is local. If you’re on Instagram, there are a couple of accounts that are made for other homeschool students to socialize with each other. They usually create a group chat. I’ve never been in one, but someone told me that it’s pretty fun and safe as well bc it’s monitored. I’m not sure if you can set up meetings with people, but you can communicate safely online. You can also join a sport because that involves socializing. If you don’t play sports, you can try to find another activity that you can do with other people. You can do plays at a community theater or go to your local library bc they sometimes have activities for kids/teenagers. You can even take some community college classes, if you’re old enough. A lot of high school students take CC classes, so you might meet other students if you go in person. My last tip is to try to stay in contact with friends from your physical school. It’s ok if that doesn’t happen, but if there are people you’re already friends with, it won’t hurt to keep hanging out with them even if you don’t go to that school anymore. I really hoped this helped! A lot of parents have the same concern as your mom, but a lot of homeschoolers (including myself 😅) are still very social, even though we may not go to physical school. I think it’s a pretty good program. It offers a lot of different classes to choose from. AP classes, college classes, honors classes, and regular classes. It’s also flexible because you can work at whatever time or pace, but they also have a calendar that helps you know where you should be. My only complaint is that *sometimes* the lessons aren’t as in depth as they need to be. This hasn’t happened a lot, but whenever this does happen, I just watch a KZbin video on the subject. This literally sounds like a sponsorship 😂 I promise it’s not, but I really do recommend this program lol
