The 4 girls that passed Rei are another DJ unit called RONDO, which is my favorite unit. Their song "Movement" was played during Lunchtime Groove in epiosde 2. I won't say anything else, to not spoil anything.

Now the voice actor of Rei Togetsu changed from kanon Shizaki to Maiko Irie. Maiko Irie is very cute and extremely charming too.

Technically speaking Shizaki Kanon was pretty much out in Happy Around! since early 2022 and her departure was just finalized in August of the same year, although health and vocal issues are some of the factors why she left, but if you actually look at it a bit deeper it's not only the reason why she left. There was actually this joke back then about Happy Around! saying Three Happy and One that is not so Happy To Be Around! cause let's be real here Kanon isn't a great dancer since Happy Around! songs are dance oriented and her low and deep voice doesn't really fit Happy Around!'s overall theme of Happy, Bright, Cheerful, and full of Energy, and if you noticed her performances during her time in the group and if you can read her body language she's visibly uncomfortable performing Happy Around! songs live and it's too obvious that she doesn't want to be there kinda like she's just there to fulfill a contractual obligation. and to be honest I've been expecting her departure in mid-2021 when Petit Mix ended but since they have performances till late 2021 she has to press on and fulfill those dates before finally leaving the group. And her leaving the group actually makes it better cause not only she can finally focus on her solo career but Happy Around! finally found someone with Mai-chan who can perform their songs with more passion and enthusiasm and to be honest when it comes to Vocal Range, Piano Playing Skills, and even Dancing Skills Mai-chan is an actual Upgrade and I'm really happy with this current line-up of Happy Around!. And, Indeed Mai-chan (Irie Maiko) is so charming and really is such a sweetheart who really loves and really cares for her fans and as for someone who experienced her kindness I have nothing to say but good things and utmost respect.

8:10, so a new unit was shown so ima list the VA who was voices for this unit (name didn't shown => hidden) [Photon Maiden] - ... as Aya from PasuPare in Bandori (the VA known as Amita), she voices for this character since D4DJ released to November 2022 - ... as Chiyu/CHU² from Raise A Suilen in Bandori - ... as Mahiro in Starlight and Thi Mai in Assault Lily - ... as Junna in Starlight, Leah in Lovell Live and Muzuki from 25h Nightcord in Project Sekai 20:18, I shouldn't spoil it right now but if you interesting (about VA, idk why) so here [...] - ..., unknown, the only thing I know is she voices for Koboshi in ONGEKI, one of my favorite rhythm game - ... as Otae from Popipa in Bandori - ..., unknown for me - ..., unknown but i only know she is a freelancer VA and cosplayer and OP is safe now, enjoy the banger OP

20:17 Yup they are a DJ Unit called RONDO and aside from them they will introduce other units as well that's I've been suggesting that you should watch the mini series called Petit Mix and the OVA called Double Mix first before watching All Mix (season 2) so that you could have a better understanding about the characters and the units that they will introduce and timeline wise and chronological order wise it was on Petit Mix and Double is the logical progression before we could get to All Mix (season 2).

I'd think the OP is "safe" to watch by this point. Our main group is together and the other side characters in the OP have all been shown. The OP's visuals are also such an important part of its groove that it is a loss to be skipping them.

I agree, Kasumi and Kyouko sound nothing alike at all. I still have trouble believing its the same person. Crazy how talented seiyuu are, massive respect.

Some anime info; The ending theme WOW WAR TONIGHT is a cover song which was made by the band 'H Jungle with T' which the song was written by famous comedian Hamada Masatoshi. And on the unit being the way it is, this is not too odd for a unit to have this type of layout. There are units that do preform music with one instrument while the other audio tracks are played via other means. And some non anime info of the D4DJ franchise; the seiyuu for Rinku, Nishio Yuka actually has experience being a DJ and has participated in the DJ Battles that the series does in Japan, there is a highlight video that showcases her and many of the other cast members doing DJ work.

Anyways since Peaky P-key and Photon Maiden have been introduced it's okay now to watch the opening theme in Episode 5.

Another awesome reaction my friend! Just love D4DJ S1 man, its so damn good. Btw if you didnt know, Rei's seiyuu also voices Shirokane Rinko from Roselia. But after S1 she had to retire from being Rei's seiyuu because of health issues (she retained her role in Roselia). So in S2 Rei has a different voice actor and I just miss the old seiyuu a lot. She made Rei's character really special!

Episode brings Ghoul’s fun facts part 4. Starting with the silliest, the anime misgendered Nyochio here. Nyochio has been identified as a guy and he’s the defacto mascot character of D4DJ. So cool and popular he has his own theme song. 10/10 would recommend. Specially to learn who Nyochio in fact is and what his deal is. Second off the four girls you saw in the background of Rei’s walk are none other than my personal favorite unit, Rondo. Without getting into spoilers they’re one of two college units formed in D4DJ who has a unique unit setup featuring a guitarist in their mix. Absolutely adore them and this single background shot is all the crumbs I need to make me happy. And finally this is your first introduction to Photon Maiden. You will be seeing them more later down the line so not much to share their. As the story continues more will be explained as they are an interesting unit seiyuu wise. The only other fact I could share is the deal with the barista in Cafe Vinyl but that can come down later down the line when more of the history of Yoba Academy and djing comes into play. Very excited for next episode!!

Also not a fact but a funny observation. Bringing up Umi Sonoda amuses me as this is the one Bushiroad music series I’ve consumed that doesn’t feature her seiyuu, Mimorin. She’s in Love Live, BanG Dream and RevStar. Her not being in D4 is a bit shocking but as she’s become a mom it’s understandable she may have been busy at the time the project too light.
