I still remember lucking out with 2011 Goku a few years back. Got one without a box for $280 back in 2019, and I still have him. He could use a bit of floor polish or something like that since he's loosened up over time, but he's still in pretty good shape for almost being 12 years old at this point.

Nice! I didn’t know some of these had gotten so pricey. Scouter Vegeta 2.0 especially surprised me, I know the original Scouter Vegeta was crazy expensive before the 2.0 came out. Makes me wonder why they haven’t done a repaint in his “first appearance” color similar to the 1.0 you showed in this video. Good stuff, very informative. I’m not surprised so many limited releases and con exclusives are so expensive, it’s insane haha.

So regarding that mexico goku (guessed right so yay), it goes for more than the 2011 sdcc for sure and is harder to find especially in good condition. Main difference aside from box is also the serial number on it, was told this by another fan. The other goku that released was SDCC and this was exclusive to a con in Mexico. Another thing is that many of these were actually opened on their way to the states by customs, so finding a NIB would def be a grail. I remember this used to go for about $150 a while back and I lucked out in getting one for about $120 along a SS 2.0 Vegeta.

I think two of the rarest, though they may not command the highest price, are the Clone Goku and Cell Shell. I've met some collectors that didn't even know those two figures existed.

It sucks we haven’t gotten a proper update or do-over of Cell Saga Gohan (not counting the battle damaged version) cuz we rlly don’t have any good version accessible right now except for the manga version which is an atrocious looking figure

the good news is those top 5 arn't even that good of figures and theres way better alternatives that exist. (unless you count Full Power Super Broly as a completely different character than Z Broly). I can't believe Awakening warrior Goku is going for that much considering his availability over the years, but I guess it makes sense since it's representative of the top moment in the entire series and the first figure you want to have to start a collection with(at least it was for me).

Idk i feel like the rarest/priciest figure out of my 27ish figure collection is M.U.i Goku,heavy arms kiryu(godzilla),awakening warrior even exclusive Goku (Got it yesterday) full power Broly,ssb vegeta (broly) and ssb gogeta, i also have the ssj2 goku exclusive that should be worth a lot 😂

@DareDevil 19 yeah but it devaluates the fig I bought so the og collectors like me get screwed because we paid several hundreds for these figures. So it's kinda like screw us....... and again, it's no longer an exclusive anymore. What would be exclusive about it if they keep reissueing them??? I'm not saying screw the new collectors but at the same time by reissueing them you are saying screw the loyal long term collectors. Just saying, look at both sides of the coin. Say you pay 400 for vegeta and now it gets re-released a week later and now it's only worth 100. That wouldn't upset you????

Trust me! I’ve spent PLENTY on figures that I shouldn’t of, especially exclusives. Even if they made a first appearance 2.0 Vegeta, it most likely wouldn’t devalue the original cause it’s still the original and first, but giving an updated version would be cool, cause that’s still the old body and you should know how TN works by now. They always do repaints and eventually they will do another first appearance Vegeta, it’s bound to happen cause they have track records of always doing that. Whether it’ll be a regular or exclusive. You’re pretty much saying you don’t want an updated version of this figure because it light devalue the original. Which I understand, but still. Wouldn’t you, as a collector want an updated 2.0 or 3.0 first appearance Vegeta?Who knows maybe they’ll never do it. But I would like an updated version of that first appearance Vegeta. I don’t want the 1.0 body so I won’t go on but the current version and for people who have the original, you will still have a rare figure. A SDCC will never go super low in value, it’ll always keep some sort of value to it cause of that SDCC sticker on the box
