@wolfman4lph47 жыл бұрын
Peter Marino at least wkth RIS you won't need to buy mlok or keymod specific bit or rail segments
@jonjonjonnyjon6 жыл бұрын
The point of MLOK and KeyMod was to reduce the weight and improve maneuverability. RIS style fore ends have a ton of extra metal because of the picatinny rails that run their length. With MLOK/KeyMod you add rails only where you need them which reduces the weight considerably and makes a thinner profile which improves grip. A RIS with Magpul XTMs is like holding a beer can while a more modern setup with something like RailScales is like holding the grip of a baseball bat. Much slimmer.
@ember59355 жыл бұрын
Peter Marino Keymod is the only thing here in the gun universe that's trash, Mlok and RIS are the kings.

I'm sorry to say that's NOT a review but seems more a marketing video, here's why: -no detailed view of the internals, from what I've seen its the same of my 2011 Mk18 and it was a pain in the ass. Lot's of problem ad trigger/disconnector: it was firing auto in semi, no lock on the hammer when releasing the trigger. Changed the firing group three times in six months and it was steel made! -no explanation on the hop-up: is it the same of previus version? The ugly that need the long key for regulation? Does it work with low power(with my 2011 version it was not possible, too inaccurate)? The hop-up rupper is soft or hard? -the outer barrel is aluminum or steel? One piece or more pieces? -Does it have a good power regulation (NPAS)? Can i use it in lowe power countries like Italy/Japan? Max. 0,9Joule. -No shooting video in single and auto, how is the cooldown? I really want to see, VFC has always had lot's of problem with that. -How is biuld the new magazine? What desing have they implemented? Since my 2011 was a totally waste of money I would like to see a DEEP review non a commercial one!!!

@samgao7 жыл бұрын
I have the VFC RIS II Forging series and here are some short comings from making it the "most realistic GBBR" #1 the threading of the upper receiver barrel nut is a tiny bit smaller than Mil-Spec. But Mil-Spec Barrel nuts will fit (because it's bigger). The Pistol Grip screw threading is smaller than Mil-Spec. The Bolt Gas Key doesn't have a hole for the gas tube to go into. And of course, the Outer barrel doesn't fit real FSB (Front Sight Base). Pins are slightly off. The receiver is lighter than the Inokatsu lower receiver. Being at 230g, Inokatsu is 234g. Vipertech is ~245g, real lower receiver is 254g. GHK's non forged receiver weighs in at 242g. Granted that a real 6920 receiver uses 7075T6 alu-alloy forgged... Castle nut isn't staked, so that's definitely not mil-spec haha.

I think they are afraid someone will import a bunch of full auto M4 lowers stuck to airsoft uppers and that customs wont notice if the airsoft lowers are to close to the real steel lowers. The one where you measure it in fps! Because there are more feet than meters in the same measurement. Jesus wept.

As a VFC HK 417 GBBR user here in NY, Getting it in the states wasn't hard at all. For $425 that included shipping and sale, I love my VFC 417 GBBR. It's pretty accurate when you play with the hop up and heavier weight BB's (.28 & .30) but dont use crappy bb's. It's best paired with HPA BB's so they don't break by the massive bolt carrier which seems to manhandle lesser quality bb's. I'm actually going to try and get another VFC but the M27 IAR just because my VFC 2016 series has been amazing and it turns heads on the field and staging area because most don't or haven't seen one. I sent you a message on Facebook about my 417 Jonathan but no response lol. $800 for it no thanks, i'll stick to HK 417/416 or so for less and same reliability and build quality without the insane price tag. my 417 GBBR Bolt carrier looks exactly like the one you took out on the show for my 417 and no issues with follow up shots.

The only thing VFC are known for, as far as GBBRs are concerned, is for making horrible products. It's a WA system, you are better off with a WE or GHK. Edit: lol 850$ for that price you can buy both a WE and a GHK GBBRs and still have money left over for mags for both.
@allenc12127 жыл бұрын
B.D.B. WE belongs in the trash can when it comes to quality. GHK is meh...their AKM have the wrong markings and details on a real AK, some of their M4s have gas consistency issues. Best bet go with KSC/KWA guns for gas efficiency.
@B.D.B.7 жыл бұрын
Had both KSC MP9 and M93R, they were garbage compared to my WE GBBRs. KSC/KWA may make good AEGs (don't know, never had any AEGs), but their GBBRs are crap. Poor design and materials, no steel reinforcement, little to non existent recoil , horrible reliability, proprietary hopup with little upgrade selection. Out of the box accuracy was great (but not nearly as good as my flat hopped WE), I'll give them that.
@allenc12127 жыл бұрын
For beginning gbb players WE might be a decent choice, but the thing with WE is that their quality control often fails with their products. Yes, they have very good recoil but the slides blows right off the gun (WE M9 auto). Also their scars are just ridiculous, the BBs cracked before they left the barrel (happened to mine). The fact that their products have so many problems just makes me think that they don't put enough effort in their gun designs (still the same internals for every gun) and their quality control fails miserably too.
@B.D.B.7 жыл бұрын
I had the SCAR for 3 years before something broke and it was only 30$ to replace. WE's 1st Gen M9s and 1911s were very old designs back when WE was actually not a very good brand, they redesigned both since then (m9 about 2 years ago and the 1911 last year). If BBs break for you, you need a better BBs. All GBBRs need stiff BBs (KSC/KWA is no exception), unlike AEGs they are pushed through a feed ramp and will crack/break apart during feeding if they are too fragile. Never had a Madbull 0.3 break on me. G&G bio 0.33 are amazing accuracy wise, but I had a few break apart during feeding, in the M4 though, not in the SCAR.

"All systems have failure points" - obviously haven't tried the TM MWS :) regardless of weather or conditions it'll run flawlessly

Bada Bing Pictures does some great stuff with the TM MWS. More for efficiency than there ever being a problem though I think.

Polecat The Pistoleer I'm actually in the same city as Badabing! He's in our MWS group and does some great mods & videos on it, some may not like the non realistic trigger group etc but for the performance you get out of it I think it's a fair swap for how good it shoots

Alex Lee Media... ha small world. I am just getting back in to airsoft after 20 ysars. So things have changed ALOT. I am coming out of the real steel world and so gbbr is where I have been drawn. Electrickery and me have an understanding and we stay well away from each other. So in course of researching gbbrs I stumbled on to badabings channel. I would love a vfc and I would still get one except a lot of the sites I look on are out of stock of all the spares, mags etc. Where as the GHK and TM seem to be more popular over here. With lots of good quality upgrades and spares.

I actually don't like the game play videos that much, mainly because everyone plays in different environments. once in a while they are ok, however say for example I play in a humid Georgia weather with bunch of dudes that are in the military or ex military such as myself, 90% of them over 18 with aeg's or hpa set ups that are about $700+.... not everyone does it like that. I really enjoy this channel for the reviews and to learn some tips as I am rather new to the airsoft world. I'd say if anything just stick to honest reviews like you have been doing. love this channel.

VFC is known to make among the most realistic looking Airsoft guns out there. However, when it comes to Gbb, and I talk about m4 Gbb, no one can beat the price and quality of the GHK. 800 USD seems to me like these guys are dreaming to sell an M4 at that price, absolutely on paper seems solid, but has no credibility on the market. TM and GHK are more or less on the same price range, 500 usd, in HK. They both perform absolutely brilliantly and have a reputation behind them. VFC is know to have dubious quality and very short life span internals. If they were to release this product at the same price range as the GHK and TM, i think i would dare try one out to really see if they did put the effort and time to develop a product that doesn't fail after 3 games.

Khane Vildur true, I do really agree. I got the Hephaestus tar21 and an own build m4 which I did from the ground up. It's a gbb but as 70 meter range! GHK stock rifles already out shoots basic AEG rifles.

I'm not going to lie I can see why the atf would not be able to tell the difference. if you hadn't told me it was airsoft I would of assumed it was real steal
@muddstuffn7 жыл бұрын
I can build a nice real AR for that kind of price tag. ill stick to my AEGs and if i want to get that close to realism ill just go out and shoot with my AR.

Way too expensive. Granted if it is super reliable you may not ever purchase another rifle.

Polecat The Pistoleer or old gen vipertech
@rustknuckleirongut81077 жыл бұрын
Thing is both those fail if realism is you main thing as it should be if you are buying from the forging series. The GHK AK bolt carrier doesnt move like the real thing(it only does a short stroke to keep fire rate up) and TM internals are as far from realism as you get. They are great guns, but if your mission is to get as close to real as possible neither is anything special.

Rustknuckle Irongut vipertech still beats this
@rustknuckleirongut81077 жыл бұрын
Unsure. This thing was quite epic when I got it in my hands. Have not held a Vipertech though, but I think the VFC has materials closer to the real steel version(not that that technically helps realism). A nice little touch from VFC was that it came with this hexagon medal with the serial number from the rifle on it.
