In this video, I revisit a game I haven't played in a very long time, Prior Extinction. This is one of the most realistic dinosaur games I've ever played on Roblox. I really like this game, but i wish they added better attack animations, for example neck snapping, realistic biting and more, right now it looks preety meh. But this game is still updating too, i think i has a lot of potrntial and it might be like Project Kaiju with Dinosaur version.

9:31, that's a Torvosaurus the strongest carnivore in the game, not an allosaurus. Allosaurus is way weaker than that. There's also certain points on the map where there's a lot of players, idk why there's not a lot in redwoods. Not many dinosaurs take long to grow, never more than 2.5 hours currently.

also, how the hell if meganeura is added, shouldnt there be pterosaurs coming out soon? Since flight is already in the game, we should just wait a little to get pterosaurs i guess. Meganeura is an insect. It will obviously have a different type of flight from pterosaurs. And meganeura is an AI and isnt playable (if you dont count playable AI gamepass)

I don't like prior extinction because of the extreme grinding you have to make. I know there is grinding on all games but this game takes it to another level, I need to spend 72 hours of my life on x2 amber just to get an allo. But forgetting that for a minute, it is actually a really good game, and it makes you feel you actually are the dinosaur. And I also like the fact that surviving is actually hard.

@Slideshow20j I understand that, but it still requires LOT OF TIME, like I said, getting the allo on x2 amber takes around 70 hours, imagine on normal amber. I agree the fact that you shouldn't get overpowered for 5 k, that takes you only 2 hours to make, but getting a decent dino for 140hrs of your life is much.

@Slideshow20j thero is the ideal sauropod hunter but brachi is also supposed to be the infamous endgame sauropod so I wouldn't say thero will be able to beat a brachi even with a pair. And rex can't hunt sauropods, this will ne addressed with the damage variation things

@@zjjla6283 no, that is an over exaggerated example. I’m talking about a skilled solo allo able to fight a rex even with the odds stacked against it. One wrong move and you are dead, but if you can dodge and attack back effectively you have a chance. This doesn’t exist in PE because larger stuff are safe guarded.

@@kenjiro2676 An allo killing a T.rex? Of course if it does a wrong move it's dead, it would've been the same irl (they didn't live during the same period, but the outcome is pretty obvious). An allo would've had the odds stacked against it even if it was skilled irl.

But if you dived deeper, this would encourage more skilled gameplay and more incentive to play as a creature you like instead of just moving on to the next strongest creature, it would make more creatures fun since they have a higher skill ceiling (the amount of skill it takes to play) and more gameplay is available. Being able to fight larger stuff is fun since it is a challenge for truly skilled players. Right now the games it’s current state is just so stat based that it isn’t even fun to play as small things since you can’t be involved in pvp as much as larger creatures, and the fact that there are less things you can do. Right now the game is working on well-being and more stuff to do, which will improve the situation. But pvp will continue to be bad since the pvp system only favors larger stuff.

my favorite roblox dinosaur game has to be DA ive been playing it sense it became a payed beta and i really enjoyed it, i think that pe and da are almost equals but da has to be better as there is so much more to do that will keep you occupied in da. as well as the fact that da is a lot less grindy then pe as it can take a while to get amber in pe.

Btw thero is getting revamp and so is dynamo because it’s currently too op, thero is getting more than half of its hp nerfed and half of its attack nerf but it has the best infection, really good speed and pretty fast, for dynamo it won’t be as huge and it can defend itself from a Rex if needed

Quests, fossils and achievements make it easy to obtain new dinos. The game is meant to be a survival dinosaur game with progression, so that's what we got
