Love how MDC gets out and camps with their owners just like ROA. What a great relationship!

Really loving that XT12 in the background and I think MDC is really leading the market with their quality and standards!

Just wish MDC had larger fresh tanks like black series. I do like the cassette toilets though. Thanks for providing more details on the issues with Black series

These are interesting vans, and we are considering one In Australia at least in MDC manuals the models we are looking at have wheel bearing services at just 5000Km. Sydney to Perth is approx 4000Km so we would have to do multiple services during a single trip. I will have to discuss this with MDC, otherwise they have have some very interesting models.

MDC also has a series that shows you how to do the services yourself if thats an option you'd consider

@@marklaurendet1861 I think they are over cautious about this topic. They use timken wheel bearings which is one of the best wheel bearings in the world and will outperform most any bearing on a trailer. If you read Timken website they say to service every 12,000 miles which is over 19000Km

@@saxomophonist Thanks, I will check that out.

@@ROAOffRoad Thank you for the reply, makes sense. The Forte9+ looks to be our best option, but will look at other models as well

Service really depends on usage. If you do water crossings over the axles you should service after the trip. If you stay out of water and excessive heat, you can extend that service interval. Full on road use can be the longer interval as @ROAOffRoad states above.

I tow an old Datsun long bed pickup bed converted to a trailer with a camper top. I like roughing it. It is the definition of reliable.

Wow! Trailers proven to handle it all!

I tow a Datsun long bed converted to small trailer with a fiberglass shell from a Chevy s-10. It isn’t fancy but I don’t think it will break in my lifetime.

That is impressive and you are spot on as I have only had a few trips with zero issues. Word on the street is the BMPRO electronics are a tadd glitzy and support directly from BMPRO is not so great in north american but maybe thru mdc this is not the case.

@@bartman1857 Didn’t know you owned a MDC? Which model do you own? Where did you buy it? Very cool.
@bartman18575 ай бұрын
@ROAOffRoad sorry I did not mean to imply that I owned an MDC. Just was agreeing that all trailers in the off road world are constantly having some sort of issue. I am a US manufacturing consultant and just cannot buy a trailer that is manufactured in China. Plus that Steve guy totally rubs me the wrong way. That said if one doesn't have these issues I would say MDC and or Lifestyles are two Chinese made brands I would consider. Thanks for asking

Really feels like you guys our pushing MDC directed content, how are things going with pause?

Good! We just have lots of MDC content since we spent the week camping with them in early July 👍

Pause is amazing! We just have not filmed anything since the show in Oregon. We are heading to the Pause factory in two weeks to see the reboots better.
