As a suggestion: Ever seen and heard Frank Marino? He's recently retired (for health reasons) but he's been playing for about half a century. Early 80s he released a few albums that definitely could've (should've!) put this hardworking Canadian in the Shredder's Superleague! I'd strongly suggest the song 'Ain't Dead Yet' from the 1981 album 'Power Of Rock And Roll', which not only still sounds amazing up to this day, but also is about one humongous solo while he's singing over it.... As to this vid: absolutely wicked! 🤘 Nuno is such an incredibly versatile musician... Seems a really nice person too, from interviews.

Thank you for turning me on to this particular song. What a monstrous piece of guitar work!! I knew who Frank Marino was, but had never heard this track. And yes, Nuno is an absolute beast on guitar and an overall fabulous musician. Discovered him in 1990 when Pornograffitti was released and my mind was officially blown! A consummate rocker. Extreme as a whole for that matter.

I think this finally confirms what we all knew, Nuno is the most technically gifted guitar player ever. His phrasing and technique is second to none. I was 16 in 1991 and have followed him since, he is a monster however small he is in stature.
