What a beautiful piece! I’m so glad you saved it. This was one of your more entertaining videos - keep talking to yourself. 😂 I like this finish more than the previous, but I’m partial to brown. When you pulled off that vinyl covering - I cringed because the real crime was covering the original veneer with that! I think your idea of selling the paint to people who like the look but can’t afford the furniture is a good one. Great work as usual!

So funny how the oscillating fan was sped up as you took the veneer off. I love the happy accident too. I would have liked to see it smoothed out with bondo and not see the rough dry wood. I am very happy you saved these two pieces and would have liked to seen them stay a pair but I understand wanting to keep what you did with the ash and black wax. They both are gorgeous and great job! As far as that powder paint I'd make darn sure you showed it open. I'd of died if I bought that and had to mix at home. Very unique. I hear milk paint is a permanent solution. Surprised no clear coat. Do you not need that with the wax? I may would give some black wax love for more depth. I love it!

I like the brown color, especially on the legs. However, I think the ash color would have been stunning if you had kept the burl veneer on the doors. They looked like they didn’t have as much damage as the other veneer and would have been stunning with an oil/wax finish to contrast the black.
