Tashi Delek!
This is a special journey to Damo Monastery, the most scaring monastery in Ngachu, Tibet.
There is a sky burial platform on the hillside near the monastery, which is the place where the locals hold the traditional sky burial.
What makes the monastery unusual is the scaring skull wall. The walls of the courtyard for sky burial are full of skulls of people who were sky buried here.
You can see skulls of people who died a hundred years ago, and also skulls of people who died just a few days ago. Death is the only thing that never changes with time, right?
Most people think that death belongs to tomorrow. But that’s not true.
While facing the wall of skulls, you will feel the death is actually right in front of your eyes. There are skulls of adults and kids. You see, time does not matter.
You never know when the unexpected will come. So you just cherish every second of the present and what you have now.
Thanks to my friend, a simple local nomad man, for showing me around this mysterious temple. The skull of his ancestor is also here.
From the bottom of my heart, I wish all of you live happily and hopefully.

His visuals of natrue , Blue sky ,pure water hills , mountains greenary etc are fabulous and spectacular.His narration in good English also commendable. The worshping and respecting human skulls is seen among the Himalayan Sanyasins ,they are carrying the skulls in their neck and conducting Shiva pujas In Roman Catholic churches also conducting sermons and preaches in the cematary during night time with human skulls ina particular festival day These are showing ,afte death we are nothing but mere skull and bones irrespective of their status ,cast creed color and king or comon . Actually this is not scary! I'm Roman Catholic & many very old Christian monasteries are quite similar with human bones. All burial grounds are sacred places mostly because God doesn't see religion, He sees faith. In fact many RC Christian traditions come from Buddhism! Learning this makes me very happy. Blessings upon you all! 😀👍❤🏯❤⛪❤

Why Islam and Christianity wants to convert every body???? Terrorism is result of islam and Christianity and hence religion not Dharma
@chinggiskhuree5748
@chinggiskhuree5748 2 жыл бұрын
@@bhartiye_ Well you bring up a valid concern. The Abrahamic religions have a very bloody history. The trouble with history itself is it can easily be altered. I neither understand the purpose nor approve of such forced conversions. As Catholics we are the Mystical Body of Christ. If the heart is unwilling, what good is that? One must experience rebirth as initially described in the Taoist Yi Ching #64. Lord Jesus spoke of this as reclaiming one's True Self by water & fire (spirit); didn't Lord Buddha teach likewise? Change always proceeds from within & you cannot love another until you love yourself. The real problem is fundamentalism in any religion. When they move away from orthodoxy, yes, sadly violence is never far behind. The Muslims I know as my neighbors are all good people. I've read the Quran about halfway through & nowhere did it say to murder anyone! In fact it warns against it, same as the Bible! Don't be taken by hearsay. The 👿 hates all religions. He especially hates Dharma because he has no power over it. Don't pay any mind to that game of "divide & conquer." It's all illusion. Blessings upon you! ❤🏯❤⛪❤🏤😀👍

If you are a Catholic, then talk about Catholicism. Do not talk about Christianity about which clearly you have absolutely no knowledge. Besides, there are NO such things called Christian monasteries. There are however, Catholic and Orthodox monasteries. So, keep religion out of Truth. Don't even try mixing the Two. For just as it is revealed, by their fruits they become EXPOSED for what they are. The reason Religion is defined as MANIFESTATION OF REBELLIOUS LEGIONS OF EVIL-SPIRITS IN MANKIND, SEEKING NOTHING BUT THE UNMERITED GLORY OF THE UNWORTHY MAN. P.s. As regards Death, well, what does one expect when mankind's first progenitor, the very first man, disobeyed God despite God's faithful warnings and chose Death instead of Life, bringing it upon his own accursed head and upon all his accursed descendants! Perhaps now you will begin to understand why Christ is the ONLY ONE to have come NOT BORN of the cursed seed of fallen man, and why thus He went on to prove how neither Sin nor Death have any power over Him. Thus EXPOSING all impostors and their blasphemous lies once and for all. The reason He testifies: "IF I HAD NOT COME AND SPOKEN TO THEM, THEY WOULD NOT BE GUILTY. NOW, HOWEVER, THEY HAVE NO EXCUSE FOR THEIR SIN." This is God's faithfulness: the Truth is brought to you right at your heart's door. Take it or leave it. For, almost all mankind love to follow in the evil legacy of their fathers and continue to choose Death over Life. But just as it is revealed at least you can no longer pretend ignorance, and what's more, now you know only you are responsible for the choice you make.
@mercyjohnson6436
@mercyjohnson6436 2 жыл бұрын
@@bhartiye_ How you love to delude yourself! How long will you cower behind your lies? Will not God utterly EXPOSE you to your eternal disgrace? Do you really imagine God is like man to be persuaded by your blasphemous lies??? Well, now that you are warned sufficiently, I hope you will realize why just as it is revealed: BY YOUR OWN WORDS YOU ARE CONDEMNED! It is your choice whether you want to add to it or repent of it. For only you are responsible for your choice - no point therefore blaming God for what you invite upon your head like your fathers.

The practice of sky burial has a deep meaning. Even though there are many reasons behind the sky burial practice in Tibet, the main meaning behind this practice is that many Buddhists believe that their bodies that are left behind after death can be used to feed other living beings. In a way, it is our way of giving away our bodies so that these creatures don't have to starve and we can be useful to other sentient beings one last time (showing kindness towards all living beings). It is somewhat similar to how deceased people's organs are donated in order to save other people lives. Even though, donating organs don't look as graphic as the sky burial scene, in the end, both people have the same intention. I hope this comment helps.

I didn’t know that sky burial was still so prevalent. I had heard that in some areas, there aren’t many vultures any more. And so the practice was disappearing. Wonderful insights. I noticed what seemed to be meditation cells behind the monastery. In ancient times, meditation in burial grounds was considered essential. Is that what is happening here? If so, these would likely be advanced practitioners.

@@judykraska400 What did you imagine? That you are the first person to disagree with the Infallible & Irrefutable Word of God? Obviously not! For you merely follow in your fathers' footsteps and choose Death over Life. The tell-tale sign of the Godless! Just as it is revealed since of old: He who HATES God, LOVES Death. What's more? You won't be the last one yet. And no, you are not sorry. At least not yet. For your delusions apart, Truth is you are accountable to God for the destruction of the free Gift of Life He has bestowed upon you and thereby passing up your only Opportunity to partake of His Eternal Life. Not to forget the indelible blood-guilt of lives you destroy in addition with your deceptive teachings. In other words, just as it is revealed you will rise with the wicked/Godless to face the Judgement of God which will certainly come at its Appointed Time. Amazing video. I was in Tibet during the winter of 2017 and was amazed by the natural beauty and the interesting culture. But I suffered from high altitude sickness though and needed some oxygen support when we travelled to Everest base camp.

Thank you very much for this video TIBET TRAVEL (Tibet Vista) - I do hope one day I am able to join one of your SUCH TOURS where I get to meet the local and not a typical tour where we only visit all the tourist popular sites. I've been to Tibet 4x but the only real local culture that I witness was the SKY BURIAL ... Been following your videos but have never had the opportunity to witness nor experience all those u have shared which is really exciting for one person who loves to learn the local culture ... TQ again

We like your vlogs so much, Sir. Are you already married and have your own family? I love all the places in Tibet that ypu've been to, and I admire Tibetan landscape, culture and lifestyle. I love how simple abd spiritual the people are. The Tibetans look like our Igorot or Ifugao brothers and sisters in the Mountain Province. They have Mongolian physical features too. I have a single daughter, pretty and petite, 34 years old, an English professor here in the Philippines, who really likes you - a lot. She's daydreaming to meet you. We know it's impossible. She does not miss any of your episodes. Please do take and stay safe always.

According to the Jataka tales, an incarnation of the Buddha called Prince Sattva sacrificed himself to feed seven hungry tiger cubs.
@Losang8
@Losang8 2 жыл бұрын
Actually, it was a bodhisattva Mahasattva, one of three sons of king Maharatha, who sacrificed his life to give his body to a starving tigress with cubs in the Dvadashavanagulma forest. Due to this altruistic act done in a state of a bodhisattva motivation, Tathagata Shakyamuni came to be and get enlightened. In other words, Buddha Shakyamuni was prince Mahasattva in one of his previous lives. This is written in the Exalted Sublime Golden Light sutra.

No, they still practice it everywhere in Tibet. As Jamyang la said, Tibetan Buddhist belief our body is just a vessel to do good in life and as you die it is the ultimate sacrifice to benefit the animals, the concept of impermanence. No carbon foot print 😊

@@TsebTYou haven't been to China. How do you know they're eliminating religion? If you go to Chinese cities, you can find Buddhist temples, Islamic mosques, Catholic churches, Christian churches, Taoist temples, and even Orthodox churches. Some ethnic minorities in China also believe in witchcraft or Shamanism. In fact, as long as you don't subvert the Chinese regime, no one cares about your beliefs.
