Ramstein Air Show was horrific. Friends of my parents lost their lives there and parents from a friend of mine were there and survived. The despair and helplessness of the people, people trying to save burning people, the screams, the mixed thick smell of burned skin and kerosene, the heat, the panic. The most close you can get to feel what hell is like. They told me that even 34 years after the event took place they still feel like it was yesterday when they jumped off the gravediggers shovel. May all of those who found death in these tragic events rest in piece.

Seeing this gives me the chills for all the lives tragically lost so suddenly. It also reminds me of what could have happened to my friend and me. A co-worker (in his 50's) that we flew with in a small plane on Mother's Day in 1982 had a MAJOR heart attack at our work yard and died just 21 months later in February of 1984. If that had happened when we were flying, then all three of us would have died in a fiery crash like this. Forty years later, that flight still haunts my friend and me.

I wrote this comment to show that I do show sympathy, and no coward does that. There are a vast number of people titled to this name who can make a difference with such a name to build reputation and character for themselves, yet at the same time I am glad that the Mohammad Ali you are referring to isn’t the type of person that loves or thinks of shedding blood. Be it even causing slavery to this very day. From their life lessons I learned that coexistence is a successful way to continue living instead of acting all barbaric for power and being brainwashed by public media. 1:50 that took place in Afghanistan, the reason was that armored vehicles weren't strapped with enough straps which caused the plane to lose balance and inevitably crash. Edit: it's obviously not the weight difference that caused the aircraft to lose balance. The last armored vehicle in the cargo rolled back to the area that houses the hydraulics and made the aircraft very hard to impossible to control.

I have witnessed one plane crash...thankfully. In May 85, an F-4 Phantom crashed about a mile from my house in the South side of Grand Prairie, TX. The pilot and navigator(?) ejected and survived. The pilot was lauded as a hero for staying with the plane longer than necessary in order to steer it into an underdeveloped area off of Carrier Pkwy and I-20. I'll never forget it. My condolences for those who were not as fortunate in these clips.

The pilot who crashed at Shoreham nearly killed us in a different plane at Southport a few months before. At the time, I was in the crowd, saw the plane heading for us and knew I couldn't outrun it. In contrast, that first one with the sad music and multiple angles - the Iviv Ukraine crash - I wasn't sure if anyone actually died based on the video, until I looked it up. There is heartbreak with any death whether you die young or old.
