Love this sweet tune. Would love to hear how you would take this another “approachable” step or two further and create even more sweetness. Thank you Marco!

Simple yet beautiful ‘open’ 1,4,6,5 progression in the key of CMajor. In diatonics it spells; 1)CMaj, 4)FMaj(7/sus2), 6)Amin, 5)GMaj(6) One of the first progressions I discovered myself discovering the neck with slight variations : )

You should check ‘chord inversions’ to open a whole new gateway ; )
@hoidoei9417 ай бұрын
This ‘open chord’ technique works also very well in the key of E- or AMaj sliding up the fretboard. Search for ‘harmonizing the scale’ (some call it ‘Nashville scale’) and try different intervals or ‘doublestops’. Works on every scale Major, minor, augmented, diminished even all the modes if you know your intervals!! You will definitely open portals and create your own sound. Works extremely well if you know CAGED, an your chord arpeggios, or even basic pentatonics/ vertically, horizontally or diagonal* (toothbrush or fryingpan shape 3 octaves up the neck : ) Again this opens gateways especially for understanding the fretborad and solo improvisation^^

@@hoidoei941yup I've heard the term "caged"..somehow never found the time to actually look it up with the rigour that i'd like to...I see you're as interested in music as me
