---New Center is a neighborhood of the municipality of Satu Mare, Romania. It was built in the 1970s and houses the Satu Mare Administrative Palace, which at the time of its construction was the tallest building in Transylvania. Other important buildings in the neighborhood include the House of Culture of the Trade Unions and the Someșul Commercial Complex. The three buildings are designed by the architect Nicolae Porumbescu.

---The pedestrian walkway over the Someș River will be built between the Decebal and Golescu bridges and will connect the New Center of the Satu Mare municipality with the Shopping City Satu Mare mall area.
