i have been on raging bull so many times that i can recite the entire station script thing by memory: Welcome to the Raging Bull! This train is leaving the station in 30 seconds so please help us out by boarding quickly so we can get you on your way. Again, we got 30 seconds to send this train out so please board quickly. Please move behind the yellow line, the gates are closing. Store all loose articles before boarding. No items may be held in the hands of riders. Guests must be 54 inches tall. Once you’re seated, pull your lap bar down as far as it will go. During your ride, remain seated with hands and feet inside the car at all times, and your head against the headrest. Secure your hats and glasses, yeehaw!

I work at six flags as a ride op and the main reason demon was closed because the lift motor was trash But now it’s fixed and it’s ready to go

Heya! I operate a lot of the rides on southwest including X-Flight, Raging Bull, Viper, and Demon. Demon has been closed as of late because of the lift motor, the old one from Shockwave died on us. We're unsure whether the park got a new motor from S&S or if the old one was repaired, I've heard both things. We literally just opened it yesterday and it ran well, hopefully it'll be consistently up from now on.

The same thing happened to me when I went last month with my friend lol. We found out that the park closed at 10 via asking an employee. We had a blast from 8pm onward. Granted there were still lines but they were nowhere near as long as usual, plus the people we were in line with were super nice and chill. This park in its late hours is something else.

one time i was at dorney and the same thing happened with talon, there was literally nobody waiting when we got back to the station and the ride op was just like “do you guys want to go again” and so we got to ride again but then there was a line when we got back to the station the second time so we had to get off

The lift motor on Demon died. They then got it back up and running and then they had an evacuation on the lift. When I was there last (July 24) it was testing with water dummies.

man i really want to go to great america so badly, but planning the trip will be a pain in the back side. mostly flight wise since there doesnt seem to be any direct flights close to the park without a 2+ hour drive afterwards. but i if do manage i imagine i wont leave the park till i have all the credits.

Other than being launch coasters, Maxx Force and Top Thrill Dragster don't have much in common. Each one has characteristics the other doesn't, so which coaster one prefers is a matter of preference. I like them both equally for different reasons.

It was for a while, then since Herschend took over it has been hauling. I can confirm since I rode it in June, it was absolutely flying through the layout. During my 9 rides, it always kept its unbelievable pacing even into the brake run.

so i just randomly came across this video and watched it because it titled my favorite park. and that's not a biased opinion because I'm from chicago...... maybe it is. but the best part of the video is when you guys went to get on the RAGING BULL and went straight to the last seat. that's our favorite seat on the ride and anyone who argues that it's not the best seat are not roller coaster aficionados. you guys would be me and my family's favorite amusement park companions.

I love bringing you guys on the ride with me whenever possible, but unfortunately a lot of parks are pretty strict about on-ride filming, and do not allow it. Six Flags Great America is one of those parks. I don’t want to risk my relationship with the park by bringing a camera on the ride with me when it’s clearly against park policy.
