Technically its not a failed/retired mascot but they changed the look of the Applejacks cereal mascots on a few of the newer boxes Ive seen. The Apple and Cinnamon guys got changed to make them look more cutesy and I miss the old ones

My favorite retired mascot is probably Fruit Brute. He was from the same set of monster cereals as the Yummy Mummy. The original cereal was various fruit flavored flakes with lime marshmallows and the tagline was "The Howling Good Taste of Fruit". They brought him back in 2013, renamed him to Frute Brute, revamping the designs of all the monster mascots with the help of DC comics, and even changed his cereal to being just cherry flakes with lime marshmallows. In 2021, however, they celebrated 50 years of the monster cereals and put all the monsters onto one box, calling it Monster Mash. Also, to answer Ross and Max's question about Mcdonalds making cereal...if Wendy's can release a Frosty cereal, McDonalds could release a McFlurry one.

Ross getting doxxed (Roxxed?) had me laughing so hard I was just completely silent unable to breathe! Side note the only mascots I heard of before was Uncle Grimacey, The Yummy Mummy and the McDonalds happy meal box. I'm surprised I didn't know about the Cheeseasaurus Rex being how popular KD mac and cheese is in Canada but I presume it just wasn't introduced here being Canada even has a different logo on the box than the US.
