Good morning from Cape Cod. I would say your talent and skill level is far superior than most restoration shops 🤘 Bad Chad floods an entire car with filler and sands it to perfection, you make the sheet metal perfect from the start. Amazing! Keep up the awesome work Cale 👍✌️🇺🇲

I did the same thing on the gutters on my 67 GTO and I'm glad that I took the time to do it. I also debated with filling the gap between the quarter and filler panel but I ended up deciding to leave it as is and use seam sealer the way the factory did.
@camracing9 ай бұрын
I don’t believe chargers had seam sealer on that one gap, it was just exposed. Generally one of the first areas to rust out because it would just trap water obviously. I still haven’t made up my mind on what I’m going to do haha
@davidpowell51379 ай бұрын
@@camracing If you don't put seam sealer in that gap, are you going to end up with water in the trunk?
@camracing9 ай бұрын
@@davidpowell5137 no, the panels have a flange underneath where they weld together. It would just be the seam on top, so a little gap, that would fill with water but should drain out the back following the gap between the deck-lid and quarters

What would look cool, since you’re modifying the car, is to make the rear window like a Charger 500. It is such a clean look they used only on Charger 500 and Daytonas

Greetings, my friend! You have a very interesting channel. Congrats for your great work! If you take a look to your video “Building a 1970 Dodge Charger from Scratch” you will see that it had more than 60k views. The following videos kept the mean of 6k views. So I would suggest that you change your videos titles from now on to “Building a 1970 Dodge Charger from Scratch” part 7, 8, 9 etc. I’m pretty sure that this will boost your view counts!
