Yes. A very nice puzzle. I saw an interesting video from Karen Puzzle. She explained that with a quality puzzle each out-part is unique and fits only one in-part. Cheap puzzles are sloppy and you can accidentally fit the wrong parts together, which is very frustrating. This puzzle looks quality for sure.

Great idea, one must sort out the various types of pieces : (1) all 4 indents, (2) 3 indents - 1 outtie, (3) 2 indents - 2 ouitties, and (4) 4 outties. Then sort again those with inny and outtie curves within each (1-4) sorting.

I think I have finally reached the point where THIS, is way too small. I pick locks and pin locks, that looks like it requires even more dexterity. This puzzle would drive me crazy.

5:30 - this is one of the first things I do with any jigsaw puzzle that has regular shaped pieces. Sorting them in this way makes the puzzle way easier to solve. 6:40 - texture on puzzle pieces is another thing that definitely helps in making solving jigsaws easier.

The problem with the texture on this one is that each piece has both textures depending on how you rotate it. In addition this is the case on the front and rear side. So it was not too helpful.

I really like this puzzle because there isn't really a spoiler. Like you said, there isn't any kind of special trick that just solves it. It's the same for everyone. Even you. If you tried to do it again, you might be a little bit faster because you know how to organize the pieces, but you'd still have to match them all again. These are great tips!

You took very little time for what it is, you had find a shortcut when solving it and that helps a lot. Testing every piece on both sides makes 640000 tests, if one test per second, that would be a bit less than 178 hours (177.77777...7) and that means more than a week without stoping (7 days and near 25 minutes) and that without stoping doing every second one test.

It freaked me out when you lifted the puzzle at 9:13 haha I thought it would fall apart. I tried a cardboard jigsaw puzzle similar to this one which was a parallel lines illusion puzzle (like a chessboard with lines through it that appear crooked but are parallel). It was so hard because not only were the pieces tiny, but the illusion made it so hard to look at haha I couldn't finish it without vomiting

There's also a traditional jigsaw puzzle that I got from Japan that's completely white. You can have it in 108 pcs or 1000 pcs. I recommend that! I think it's called Beverly Micro Pure White Hell Jigsaw 😂 try that one next time!

I don't think this is a full 5/5 though. I mean I know you go by whole numbers, but it only took 5 hours. The main difficulty is the time investment (so patience and persistence). Even if someone was very slow and it took them 100 hours, it could still be done by most people. I've played video games that took much longer to beat than that. So it seems more like a 4.5/5

You should sort by piece shape, not just put them in a random order! And the numbered piece would be much more likely to be a corner or the centre than anything else so you should have put that to one side.
