ALEKSANDAR demonstrates this perfectly. His aim is far from flashy, but what's so mesmerising to see everytime is his kill confirmation. This allows him to get 3-4 kills with only 8-9 bullets with no downtime. His 4k sheriff one tap clip is very iconic for that reason

One of the best ways I've seen to practice hit confirmation inside valorant itself is going into the practice range as iso. You activate his E and shoot multiple bots in the head, flicking between each one (typically I shoot 3 to 4) THEN flicking to shoot the 3-4 double tap procs that are in the air as fast as possible before they disappear and repeating the process for a few minutes. I originally discovered the method from a video by Damxo who covered their aim routine and I've incorporated it as part of my aim routine ever since. To anybody trying to work on hit confirmation I would highly recommend to try it for themselves

It might be underrated but it is not a fix all your problems aiming trick. This has always been apart of every training scenario ever done. You can train it with any scenario because it is simply called don’t shoot if you don’t think ur on the target. This is nothing revolutionary people have already talked about this before but they just called it intentional shooting. Woohoojin, MiniGod, and Voltaic all suggest that you don’t click before on target. This is also the reason that they say it is going to be slower aiming at first since you have to think if ur on the target until that skill is trained to take over subconsciously.

i have some strong opinions on this, i have been radiant since ep2 in EU, i hit radiant in around a week of playing NA, and ive peaked immo3 on APAC. I have also been masters in apex, global elite in CS and i hit faceit9 when i was 14, begrudingly quitting the climb to focus on school i coach friends and friends of friends passively on a number of games, but valorant has been more popular the last few years. i have coached ranks as low as bronze, getting my best friend from bronze 2 to ascendant 3 within 4 months, and into immo in another 3 weeks. I have coached immortals into radiants. For a blanket statement, stop watching aim videos. ive coached countless people, only once have i coached someone who had bad aim, and she had bad aim because she was using her mattress as her mousepad. 70% of what you are doing wrong has nothing to do with your aim and are things you could fix within a week. 20% are harder things to break and 5% will be your "aim", but not the way youre thinking about it. Before i address the video i might as well tell you why you jump to blame your aim, and what youre actually doing wrong. Its the exact same reason why most people play the vandal over the phantom. despite the phantom being statistically stronger at range, when the gun fails you its tangible, you are told that you hit him for 140. the vandal is less accurate at range, so if you miss shots because of the vandal, you wont be told it was the vandals fault. its that mentality of always looking for something or someone to blame. So to bring that back to your aim, you will be taking bad fights, and then when you lose those fights, what can you take away from it at a surface level? "oh well if my aim was better"- when what youre really saying is, "if my aim was good enough i could take bad fights and still win"- but you dont want that. or you shouldnt. i got stuck in ascendant for a while because i have really good aim, but i was crutching it, my mechanics sucked. anyway, back to the video and thankfully i can make this quick. hit confirmation should only be practiced if you are bronze or lower or crouch spraying out of panic every single fight. what youd want to do is only buy guardian and then do hit confirmation. outside of that, if you start to care too much about hit confirmation your reaction time will be around 2x as slow. the average human reaction time is .300ms, if youre doing hit confirmation it could be .600 or longer. i mean imagine taking a fight where youre both strafing and youre doing hit confirmation. youd never shoot. if you did, youd still miss, because you are not a triggerbot.

as someone who is bronze and is trying to get better, would you recommend just practicing stuff like aim placement, peaking technique, and stuff in deathmatch/tdm? and would there be anyone ways to practice that you would recommend? I ask just cause, after reading your comment I would greatly appreciate your opinion, and also I find myself having polarizing games where I can't track someone to save my life in one ranked to doing pretty well in gunfights in another. For me I do think positioning and game sense contribute to the fluctuations greatly as they are weak since I've only just started to get into the game (I think about two weeks now) which I imagine I would get better with by playing the game more and watching strategy youtube videos. If you do reply to this, I greatly thank you for your time.

@@keane2292 i think id need to know specifically what you do wrong to have the best opinion, because ranks between bronze and gold dont necessarily get "punished" for doing certain things wrong, ive coached a bronze with better aim than some plats but his movement was bad, ive coached a silver who literally had her headset on backwards, theres a lot that can be going right and wrong in those ranks one thing paid coaches will never do is tell you to change role, but someitmes its necessary, if youre bronze and playing something like sage, you need to play an agent that can have high impact that does not rely on skill if you think about the difference between a bronze sova and a radiant one, sure the radiant will have much better aim, but what really makes him radiant is a vast arsenal of lineups that help not only him, but his team i mentioned how i got immo3 in apac, i did this with a duo purely by doing lineups, i was on viper and she was on sova, we won most of our games because lineups are cheesy and easy people recommend dm/tdm but i almost never have. theres many people who say they perform well in dm but cant transfer it to normal games, the only time i will use dm is to determine if someones aim is actually an issue. if you can frequently be top 5 in dm, your aim inherrently is not an issue there is no substitute for playing the regular game mode, so at most you should practice in unrated as a bronze id recommend working on building good habits, so for example strafing is hard to learn but once you can do it consistently, it doesnt matter if youre missing, youre in bronze, they will not be able to kill you i would also recommend you get good at communicating, communicate so much you team is annoyed by how hard youre trying, if im lurking for example im telling my team everything. "two are rotating from C right now, dont commit come take C its open", or if its slower and im lurking up A and raze nades it, im telling my team that you should also be commanding when you com, so instead of saying things like "we dont need to commit here" you should say "dont commit here, (X amount) are already on site" (youd say this if you ran into a stack, and youd know you ran into a stack off of noise and what util youve seen / heard) you can also predict where they are easily too, so say for example we are on haven, we have one C player, 1 B player and the other 3 are on A, the enemies are quiet and have made no noise, where could they be? they could have walked up garage, they could even be in your spawn. if you take note of things like that it will be very easy to predict where they are and what theyre doing. its the same if they always have someone lurk, make sure you call it out and you try to punish the lurker etc this is the only real way you can "learn" gamesense, so if you can get gamesense and coms down early i promise you it will do great things for you, when i was stuck in ascendant my coms and gamesense carried me for a while, mechanically and gunplay wise i should not have been higher than plat3-diamond1 it is also very important to remain tradeable, if you have one player who isnt a sentinel like cypher on a site, call him to play with the team and just play retake on that site, because otherwise if they go to that site, he will fight, die and you will be down numbers, its the same if you want to peek into the attackers, take A site on haven for example, if you have two there, you either both go short or both go long, never give 1v1s if you can help it thats everything i can think of off of the top of my head, you sound like you have the right ideas and since youre only 2 weeks in im sure you will climb easily

@@keane2292 dont mention it, i love helping people :) i know ive won games lurking on omen being the only one comming before, the impact of comming can not be overstated even if its just one person, if you die you can com on behalf of people who dont which is just one of the many ways you can make someone whod otherwise be useless, useful. in the same way you can call for their util if you notice theyre somehow dying with full util etc if you feel like youre comming too much youre doing something right, you should be coming almost every thought youre having about the game. "raze naded main, they cut noise could be rotating, care mid" etc i dont really add people i havent met properly and i honestly dont have as much time because of how much i work, hopefully you understand i also dont accept any compensation for knowledge i give, imo coaching is a huge scam, people like jollz charge hundreds for mediocre advice that and not accepting payment if im coaching someone directly allows me to help more, since i dont have to worry about them stopping paying me if they dont like what i tell them when i was 18 i coached a couple, the lady was having no impact maining sage so i had her learn lineups on kayo, her KAST (which is a % stat telling you how many rounds you got a kill, assist, survived or got traded) went from 44% to around 80% which is good. anything above 70% is good if youre this passionate about improving that youre looking for videos and advice im sure youll put a few hundred hours into the game at least np again for the knowledge, i hope it serves you well

There are a lot of misconceptions about aim training. It won't necessarily translate to Valorant skills as many people think. You could train for years in Aim Lab, be among the top 0.1% of players in micro-flicking, and still be hardstuck in Gold lobbies. I'm actually a top 1% player in Aim Lab. Although it helped me improve my aim significantly, this doesn't mean I became a top 1% player in Valorant. I have a 47% headshot rate with the Vandal and an average of 35% overall, including snipers. However, most of my success comes from my crosshair placement, decision-making, game sense, map knowledge, and so on. I'm currently solo queueing and hardstuck in Ascendant lobbies, where I carry most of my games. You can never completely counter Riot's matchmaking system. Remember that. They will nerf you hard no matter how good you are. You need to practice these aspects more than just focusing on aim training. Of course, adding deathmatch, bot training, Aim Lab, and similar practices is beneficial. But trust me, focusing on your crosshair placement, movement, and ability to read enemy plays will help you achieve those kinds of stats Quicker. Last but not least: Aim training can be extremely frustrating; it can even become counterproductive. Remember to have fun! After all, it's just a game.

Hit confirmation doesn't describe any concept in this video lol Hit confirmation is a fighting game term used to describe possible follow up commands for when a specific move lands on your opponent. This has nothing to do with flicking or aiming technique. It's just good gunplay. Stop trying to force this verbiage into Valorant when it has no correlation to the game genre. "Have good crosshair hygiene, shoot them in the head, then move onto the next one." I've summarized this 8 minute video into a sentence.

That's the dumbed down version. You need to understand that hitting a flick on just reaction time and a fast mouse movement is highly inaccurate, therefore, you need to spend enough time on target, or readjusting to, in order to properly understand that your crosshair is on their head and then fire. If it was that simple then we could just tell that to lower elo players and they'd instantly become magically better.

no aimlabs playlist but i’m pretty sure playing pasu and popcorn does similar effects. in my opinion, in game you can do dm’s and try put a heavy emphasis on being conscious of doing a explosive flick and then a small micro-adjustment to land on the target, because that is essentially what hit confirmation is. strafe bots in the range may be challenging as well as you’ve practicing on a moving target which will require a bit more effort to adjust

aim labs is good too all you need is a way to isolate situations and train them until you can get them down consistently you could in theory do this without an aim trainer if you have a perfect memory because if each time you encounter a situation, you memorize it, you can use that info to make next time better but considering the rare situations are rare, you may encounter them only 3 times in a hundred games which is the power of aim trainers, because you don't need to do in game things like wait for buy phase, clear smokes, or get flashed you can train purely on a certain type of flick
