Enjoying the content and this is a great overview, Ben. Ironic that this is the subject of your 2nd video upload, as I had recently just sold mine (maybe the universe is telling me something!). I actually did find I was getting a bit too much attention wearing it, as it is a stunner, and wanted to go more low-key with full steel versatility. So, fortunately, was able to pick-up the Sub no-date and Exp 1 40mm from my AD to add into the collection during the following months. Still, I do reminisce about the Rootbeer and there is certainly something quite special about it!

Looks like it’s very retailer dependent. I was offered a Root Beer by my AD out of the blue, when I was actually on the wait list for a Batman. I took the opportunity to view it and was immediately smitten and parted with my ££££ without hesitation. It is simply stunning.

Everyone is entitled to their opinions, but the root beer has been around for quite some time. it’s a watch that does not age well because of the oyster bracelet. It starts looking dull and it scratches very easily. The new GRNR is new and a first for Rolex. It has a sparkle that oozes classy and the jubilee bracelet not only makes the watch comfortable to wear, but makes the watch stand out. I suspect Rolex will also do the root beer with a jubilee bracelet. When that happens everyone will be chasing it
