The speedrun at 4:23 was played on the Infinity snapshot version of Minecraft where you can just throw a book and quill that has been written in into the nether portal and it will normally take you to a random dimension however if you type certain words it will take you to a specific dimension such as the literal end dimension.

So, the second person was playing 20w14∞ which is an April Fools update with infinite randomly generated dimensions you get to by throwing written books into portals. People managed to reverse engineer the algorithm and find the exact written book needed to get a portal to the end which is what the speedrunner did.

@pewpew1369 That's not possible since throwing books into the portal just changed the dimension it takes you to. They would have to code a new block that gives you ender pearls and there is no block in the code that can do that other than a command block which exists outside the version.

Edit: I rewatched the video talking about it and it was 4 minutes and 3 seconds. The only established category for the snapshot is random seed glitchless so that is pretty fast.

That last one at 8:21 looks like Teardown, but I'm not familiar with any of the custom levels and whatnot that are in the workshop. Haven't beaten it yet, so I cannot confirm whether there are dinosaurs in the main game, but that seems highly improbable unless the story makes a right angle turn for the weird at some point.

@@typhoonsix777 I know its mods, I said that I'm not familiar with Teardown's workshop - the minecraft stuff made that quite obvious, I only stated that I'm not sure about the dinosaurs because I haven't beaten the game so I have no idea if they come out of left field somehow. The only thing that I know about Teardown's later levels is that there are security robots, so I didn't want to assume that there wasn't a Jurassic Park parody somewhere.

So, the minecart nuke is actually a real thing you can do. You can continuously place TNT minecarts on a single rail and set them all off at once. It creates a massive explosion that is equal to the number of TNT minecarts you placed.
