I like how it’s inverse for Aiger, Valt in the 1st season was all about having fun and in the 2nd season, it was to always keep aiming much higher, for Aiger, he kept wanting to get stronger and eventually became the strongest, but learned how to have fun while blading

I also like the parallel that Valt also had a healthy bond with Valtryek till the end but lacked fundamentals and Skill which he had to work on. Aiger on the other hand was a talented and skilled blader from the start but lacked a real bond with Achilles.

Even when fake Ranjiro suggested he throw it away (this was after he lost to Hyde TWICE) he got annoyed and didn’t even think about it. It’s rather the more the series went on he realized he wanted power more than focusing on what he already had with Achilles.

Man, Aiger's voice actress did amazing especially when Achilles was destroyed. I could feel the emotional weight. Translated, Chouzetsu means "Transcendence." Also the writer stated Aiger's story was a story of resurrection from failure and I love it. He's the first protagonist to have and entire darkness arc, as well as the first to use a balance type bey. And honestly Rise, Surge and Quadstrike only further made me love Aiger's character. Went from a somewhat selfish protag, to an out-of-character protag, to a fellow blader who helps others any way he can.

I think what's also great about aiger is that his journey shows that there is no definitely becoming the best at something Already at the midway point of Cho-Z he becomes "the best" but is overtaken almost immediately He becomes truly the best at the end of cho-z, but in future seasons new bladers appear who can defeat him as well as old ones getting stronger, showing that the journey to be the best is one that's never truly over, as aiger is usually one of the best bladers together with valt, shu and free (arguably lui too) at the beginning of any season, but tends to get eventually over taken by some of the newcomers, but by the start of the next season he always makes his way back to his spot at the top

I really appreciated Aiger's arc throughout Turbo, he managed to climb out of a deep pit and see the light at the end of the tunnel, his core theme is resurrection from failure, and that is something very inspiring to many people, if things aren't going well for you, think that they'll only get better from here and strive to make it better. That's why Aiger Akabane is a great protagonist.

Aiger was the character who I’ve had the most improved opinion on: in Turbo he just felt too full of himself for me personally (mainly because I hate characters with big egos but don’t get humbled), but the more I rewatched Turbo and watched the later seasons was when I realised that he had the best development and was one of the best characters. He shot up to being my 6th fav character in all of Burst.

I always liked Valt and Dante more but as of last year, despite burst being on its last year, Aiger not only became my favorite burst character, but favorite protagonist. I he grows a lot in his series , but my favorite thing is how in the later seasons, when he ages up, we get to see the results of the lessons he learned. Teaching them to other protagonists, and being there for them in low points like his friends were there for him for when he was in a far worse place. Ik this is a long comment, but I feel like it’s worth it.

Knowing that was a pain he’d already felt, knowing that Dante wanted to beat Arthur, he comforted and encouraged him, as his friends did when he went through the same experience.

I’d add the one with Hikaru as well because Aiger actually wanted to comfort him for not making it to the finals: it wasn’t about him it was about helping someone else which is one of the best shows of his development. It’s one of Aiger’s best qualities: he knows how to support others in recent seasons and to just take a moment to give them advice or teach them something important. Like Pri with her self-identity, Dante to keep moving forward, and Hikaru for the same thing and to also realise that there are other people who will be there for you. (That last one is more his recounting but still it counts. And also applies to Dante before that scene when his bey got destroyed.)

But finally watching those series, especially Aiga's arc throughout made me open to the idea of changing protags in order to tackle different scenarios and progression than before. I remember at the time people weren't a big fan of Aiger because of how he won most of his battles and his behavior, but it made sense because of the context that he grew up in a farm where he had a lot of physical strength. But I like how Aiger's character arc goes and has become on of my favorite characters in Burst. Also if you read the manga it was actually Valt who destroyed Z Achilles with his Turbo Valtryek to snap Agier out of the dark resonance but got changed in the anime because it would be "out of character" for Valts character. Also, a side note is that Fubuki is NOT Valt successor it's Shu Kurenai

Surge was definitely not the worst Burst series, in my opinion it would be Quadstrike/Quaddrive, even though it had some crazy battles in all, it wasn't really that special. If Lui didn't lose to Aiger, Aiger wouldn't have become any stronger, and would've probably not climbed up the rankings, and would not have become the champion. I agree with you, but both were really interesting characters. And yeah everybody has his own tastes, but saying that his opinion is rejected is kinda harsh ngl. another one! actually geeked out when seeing this video in my recommendation, ChoZ is the first BeyBurst season that ive ever watched so this was a good review on Aiga’s character. Quite forgot on how the story goes but i do remember it was being one of the craziest from all the 7. Sometimes when people ask between Valt or Aiga i would often get confuse because i love these 2 as main character equally! their development throughout the series is very well packed and fun to follow. Looking back how Aiga is now compared to Cho-Z, he really changes. He was more selfish and bragging around in his season, he still had that nonetheless but now he really cared towards others. I love how you showed the scene where Aiga is worried for Hikaru, i think that scene really shows how Aiga changed as a person. From the one who only cares to be the strongest and himself to finally cares about others and help them if they’re down. I also adored his mini arc with Ranjiro in the Sparking season, it really shows how he really cares about his friends even though he snapped at them before i think as if the plot was switches between Aiga & Ranjiro, where Aiga is now the one who needs to support Ranjiro. Another great example is him with Drum or with Pri, his interactions between the Forstyhe siblings was really good. Not only he also had a little sister, the thing is he’s trying to understand Pri’s feelings who was being “controlled” by Pax. Aiga knew it’s not great or the best thing a brother could do to their siblings for asking them to follow whatever they want. Aiga always comforted Pri throughout the series, by just telling her to be herself and don’t mind too much about her brother, also seems to try opening her eyes on what he’s brother’s doing is wrong. This is mostly about me yapping about Aiga after Cho-Z but i think it’s just great to see Aiga’s change, he still got his big talk and cocky personality but is more gentle, friendly in the other side and that’s what i love about him! anyways another great video, i wonder what character you will do next but i think it’s fun for you to cover the protagonists. But i’m also cool with other side character too!

When I rewatched the series i understood Aiger more and more and I related to him in some ways, and the drive to become the best but I’ve also been at times when I felt like I wasn’t having any fun and i was just failing over and over again and i understood his frustration. Aiger’s arc is one of my favourites since he had to overcome the negative side of life to see the positive which none of the others (other then Shu) had to experience. His fun and reckless personality with his motivation and drive to become the strongest is something i related to with my personality to lol, I remember when i wanted to be friends with him as a kid to train and and a blast together. 😂 Aiger was def the one I looked up to as a kid, and i still respect him ngl. Him and Valt are my favs and Beyblade burst will always have a place in my heart even though it has come to an end ❤️

I think you should honestly do a video about Drum/Dante as he is my favorite Beyblade protagonist with Valt right behind him. I also liked how he had a character theme that being Friendship which I think fits his character really well but something I find interesting is that the creator doesn’t mention the other protagonists character theme (which honestly made me think that he had envisioned Beyblade Burst to end with GT) but they definitely have character thenes but there not as noticeable as the Valt, Aiga, and Drum.

I like Aiger cuz of how unique he is as a mc, but now I can relate to him ane understand him. I usually pressure myself during class to have high grades and to be the best, but when I have a bad result, I started to become frustrated and mad at myself and I sometimes would cry and my classmates would comfort me. As someone who is a major fan of Beyblade Burst Turbo I love your perspective on Aiger's story. Though tbh I've always seen it slightly differently. I always saw Aiger seeing Phi's power as the only way Aiger could grow in his power, not seeing the dangers of this new power and not seeing how this affected others. I also would LOVE to do a rewriting of the 2nd half of the Turbo series and have it be an almost what if scenario for how the series could have played out differently.

That information is what i actually wanna seek from other beytubers.....when someone posted about the protagonists of bust series or what's the best burst series, what I read amongst the comments is that they despise aiger and they hate turbo series because of aiger....they hate him because of his plot armour without analyzing his whole character way before he started blading. Even tho he's not my fav protagonist in burst series (my fav is bell btw), I do think that he is the most unique protagonist because of character development and how he is differ from the other protagonist of beyblade.....and that's what I like about him! And that's what turbo is best season of burst for me because it's also unique. Hope more content about this! More power dude!

Aiger went from being from a character I didn’t like to one of my favorite protagonist period. And I don’t mean just beyblade no I mean protagonist in anime. He’s such a different kind of character from most protagonist. Redemption arcs are usually fan favorite stories in media. He wasn’t truly a bad guy but rather someone that needed to his big head to be keep in check. As a result as the story progresses seeing him go down a dark path to hitting rock bottom to rise back to the top and come out of it a better person felt satisfying to see

aiger was one of those characters who pissed me off. at first he was a bratty kid who says ill blow you away but lose to actually strong bladers. then achillies broke and then his redemption arc came up. thats when i started to like him because instead of thinking of blowing people away, he actually put his brain into each battle and his cockiness went down a whole lot. now aiger is one of my favorite characters

@@Chilled_Blue heres an example, quadstrike ep10 xander said if he wins he gets his grandpa and bel agrees, bel losses and he didnt accept their agreement for his grandpa even if the bet was a joke but bel didnt know it, a main character like aiger or an mc from a different cartoon/anime show he would accept it and feel bad about their loss, later on the other guy offers his grandpa because he at least tried to win and gave his best shot at him even if he losses..thats how it works all the time, bel never accepted it because he is selfish and the writers dont care about his character..(i hope u understand what im saying, my english is bad) but i would still like to hear your opinion on zero since i dont really have an opinion on him

I watched the shows before it, but Turbo is the first one I remember watching, and I glazed Aiger like crazy. I fr thought he was the main character not just the main character of that show. When I got to Rise I was like, "WHERE'S AIGER!!!!!!!😡😡" and just stopped watching the show because I was a top tier Aiger glazer. I eventually got over it and saw Aiger in all the shows and was happy. Him becoming evil and stuff was a crazy plot line ngl. Turbo was one of the best Beyblade shows. Also why doesn't my super cool Beyblade blow up my house room smh. 😒

Something I love about Cho-Z is that Aiga/Aiger is a character that you root for but then slowly.... dont. You watch someone who goes from wanting to win with pride and honor to someone who wants to win for the Thrill of Glory and not to dismantle his pride. You watch him win and win and win and he just keeps. I love that he genuinely just loses so much. I like Valt but Turbo/Cho-Z is just so damn extreme that it gives us the excitement of what the Metal series gave us
