Interesting. Those cupholes. We see them a lot, on different places. What is remarquable here is that the holes are there on one stone, lighter of colour and seemingly of different compound. Could it be that the cupholes are a result of a natural proces where water comes together in small dents, then eroding after time in bigger cupholes. Possible dentforming dependent of the characteristic of the stone material.

There aren’t any plans that I know of, but I would love to see them build a shelter over it to protect it from the weather, but still allow you to walk around it.
