I have it, it's awesome. i pair it with the ifi zen and it sounds pretty clean.

@@kazumasatou6124 the truebass on the zen gives a very subtle sub bass boost. The bass knob on the xduoo dac is great because it doesn't overwhelm the midbass, but can also tone down the warmness of certain headphones like sennheisers 600 lineup and my harmonicdyne Zeus. I also use the treble tweak quite often as it can really bring out the detail. Unfortunately, my Zen amp has a channel imbalance in 3d audio mode so I don't use it and can't comment on how it affects soundstage or the sound signature in general

@@SidVirtuous did you notice that the knobs on 0 have a nasally sound to them? i just received mine and the all the knobs in the middle sound nasally but with an increase in treble it returns to neutral.

@@kazumasatou6124 haven't noticed that tbh. But I've only tried it with my hd 800s and I usually have the bass turned up to two o'clock so maybe it happens on mine on neutral, I'll try it out later

I love my MT604. Powerful, balanced, very detailed with wide sound stage. It drives my sennheiser HD800s well.

I'm disappointed the XQ-100 didn't work. Although the only feature increases over the XQ-50 PRO/PRO2 are the balanced (XLR) outputs and the upgraded DAC chip, is that worth the extra $250? Regarding xDuoo products with which to match it, the MT-604 headphone amp takes XLR inputs but that has limited function with wonky volume controls. The TA-20 is a better fit, it would be great to see how the XQ-100 performs with that, they even have similar footprints and could be stacked.

The xDuoo XQ-50 PRO is one of my favorite audio devices. I used it when I was working from home even when I had wired options. The play/pause button was very handy to stop the music to take a call, and the display eliminated the distraction of handling and opening whatever source (phone/tablet) I was using to see what was currently playing.

I just saw on Apos that there a line now associated with the great 604 amp. A new matching DAC and a Bluetooth receiver that outputs to the DAC ! This is freaking awesome…. But do they work. I’m rewatching this a few times .
