Ever since I came upon the major 7th chord (on guitar) I 've loved the feeling it evokes and have incorporated in several of my songs. My untrained vocalist intuitively responds to the sound and comes up with some dreamy, floaty kind of melodies. I love the patterns you play here Nahre. Hey Nahre, great exercise. My daughter is looking to major in film scoring/composition in college and was looking for some harmonic ear training/daily compositional exercises to expose her ear to different tonalities, etc. for her and this is awesome. Would you suggest doing the same making the chords m7, then m7b5, dom7, sus4, sus2, etc.?
