The Waddlewings in New Super Mario Bros U carry acorn power-ups in the very first level of the game. If you stomp on them, you can get the acorn power-up. I don't think it does it the rest of the game, but it's something that should've been mentioned

I just wanted to tell you that in Super Mario 3d World, while holding a Koopa troopa shell, you can turn into the shell to destroy everything in your path, however it's very hard to control.

Based on subpixel position, the infinite 1up trick combo can end and if you get more than 255 lives, it will not stop but instead overflow and set your life counter back to 1.

9:54 Actually, you _can't_ take fall damage from getting launched by a cataquack, you only take damage from getting launched by a red cataquack, while the blue cataquacks are harmless.

Super Mario World was also the first time that stomping on a Koopa Troopa shell would knock the Koopa out of its shell. All other games that featured Koopa Troopas before this just had the Koopas retreat into their shells.

moneybags in NSMB: aight, I'ma just head out. but really now, swear all the gold enemies are just.. fun ta be around, and random fact! all bros start acting like gold hammer bros when well... golden, except for sledge bros, as they just refuse to become gold! (you can find out yourself if you're insanely fast in the mystery adventure pack's bro bonanza temple stage!)

Their actually called "Kuribo's shoe" the reason its not "Goomba's shoe" is because of a translation error from the Japanese version to the American version (PAL regions also have this error). This was fixed in remakes of Super Mario bros 3.
