I was very anti noise gate but thanks to this video it solved not only the single hum but also the natural high gain hizz. Thanks and keep them coming

I´m using this configuration on noise gate: T: -75; R: 320; D: 70. To my gear works fine!

Another great video Jason! Just wanted to say thank you!! As a new TONEX and modeling user, I have a lot of questions, I came here more just looking to see what each knob did as I know the controls under different names (attack, decay… etc) And found a great video. You’re my go to for all things TONEX. Loving the JS tones! Keep them coming man. I certainly will be grabbing some as I get a little better versed in this new world. As a long time Tube head player, I’m just blown away by this tech. I never would have believed this day was coming in my lifetime. What an exciting time for us.

Thank you! It finally makes sense how those Release and Depth knobs work.

Great Video! Just a question: Can I control release and depth on the tonex pedal by itself? Or do i need a midi controller for those “additional parameters”?

Amazing sounds! Question: How do you set the preset on the Tonex pedal/software in order to play and edit while playing? When I try it always just plays the preset as it exists in the library tab.

When finally the noise gate works, it kills your pinched harmonics

I am a new Tonex Pedal user. I assume if you do your own captures and fine tuning on the Tonex app then move it to the pedal it’s the same. What is the best way for someone that has no intention to capture amps to use your collection and adjust it to my guitar and noise situation? Thanks

HI, yeah the pedal and the software will sound identical if they are being hit with the same input level. For my tone models if you set your pedal with the Global Input Trim at -2 or -3 you will get the same tone as I captured it. For the Noise Gate you can follow the settings in the video but adjust your Threshold to the guitar you are using. I hope that helps :-)

How to removed the hiss on some of the preset??? Just bought this pedal

Tonex has a Noise Gate that works well. Here is a video on how to set it up: kzbin.info/www/bejne/hKbQq5ZjnLOAjK8

@@JasonSadites is the hiss because of gain in the preset?? Is there a volume per preset??
@JasonSadites10 ай бұрын
Yeah, very much like a real amp. The more gain the more noise. The noise gate works quite well :-)

@@JasonSadites i settled on using the knobs on the pedal right now… i have lowered the preset volume and gain individually.. this had seem to help with the noisy presets.. i tried the noise gate.. it will be a learning curve for me.. increasing the threshold lowers the noise, until i started playing and the noise seem to come back.. maybe i just not learned it yet

@@Joejoe-nt3gc the problem is with people that are beginners think that the gain should be on 10. Even for a high gain stuff like djent and deathcore the gain is lower than you think. Don't base your sound off what you hear on finished mixes because what you're hearing is doubled guitars EQed to death. Also, adjust the input trim. I heard a bit of hissing on mine as well until I lowered the input trim just below clipping.
