Finally someone is actually talking about how mid this unit is instead of glazing him simply cause he's new. This unit is way too hyper specific in his usage for it to even be worth it. There are other units that do more damage and/or are more effective with less effort. There really just isn't a place for Akaza in this game at the moment IMO.

In my opinion he is good, why you may ask. It’s because if you get him and you are new his cooldown isn’t bad and damage isn’t bad (if you are good than he is kinda bad though) but I use him because he is cheap and the damage is decent to hold off the starting mobs in ANY stage usually. Sometimes you need two of them then they can easily hold of the starting mobs until you can buy a new unit to place down.

nah i feel like the added strategy is good as long as the payout is a lot of DPS, we shouldnt complain about new attack types just cause they arent convenient enough lol. clearly its not meant to be a mindless braindead game and even the new igris bos event sort of proves that. innovate and rather complain about its dps in max effect rather than how it gets there. because frankly hes not hard to put to perfect use

You still need to place them wisely, like a cha-in, but you don’t need to control the priority of the unit all the time. I just can’t understand why do you even want to use this unit, yes his dps is good, but it is just GOOD, not OP

Definitely the worst part about anime tower defense games isn’t the gambling it the fact that they ALWAYS do akaza dirty like rengoku is quite a bit weaker then akaza in the anime and tengen looks up to rengoku suggesting that rengoku was definitely the stronger hashira out of the 2 and yet they always do akaza dirty by giving him small range and aoe even tho in the show he literally has more range then rengoku and tengen combined and it would technically make more sense for him to be a full aoe then for tengen because he has compass needle over all I HATE when anime game glaze rengoku and say that akaza is mid

To be precise and short at the same time: Akaza is only good when ur a newbie, tbh the legendary black goku can be compared to him in terms of usage. Otherwise though akaza is bad when u progressed in the game. In short there are other mythic choices u can choose that is far better than akaza.

But when I used useless, I meant that he is stronger by something then other mythics, but he is not #1 in any category or don’t have support things like stun/slow/buff. There is always a mythic which can stand upon him, and by saying that I mean having a reason to use a unit. Only after 10500 comments about how akaza is the goat, I can totally agree that in the raids he is just a killer, so he is not completely useless. But in other gamemodes, idk if he will be in my team, as there is always a mythic that you want to take instead of him

Alr hot take. But i have an idea to make that lame ahh AOE a bit better(or more fitting ig?) So instead of his aoe always pointing to outside. Lets make his AOE always stays inside the enemy track. So his AOE will always guaruntee to hit all enemies in his AOE range. And to make it better lets make his AOE not sticking on an enemy with a tip of AOE but instead a CENTER of AOE. How was this idea?

@@gstreamgc.9697 Tbh this would ruin the unit, his attack type is a “feature”, that you can use in 3% of game situations but still, he is unique because of that. What are you saying is basically line aoe, but cutted, so let him have some good aoe or just a regular line aoe, that would be ok

Just set him to closest or you turn on the max range placement and place him far enough where his range can only hit a certain spot on the lane. The unit is just complicated tbh. But the second option wont be recommended since it only hits small spots before the last upgrade.

There is NO maps where he can show 100% of his potential, or you are loosing the ability to play the start with him to benefit in last stages, or so complete opposite. If you will just sit and think for some time, you will understand that there is always some unit which is better than akazo in something, that’s why this unit is not mid, he is useless - only if it is not your first mythic. When there would be maps with long straight paths, he will be very good, but I don’t think this will happen
