Hell yeah dude. That thing not only looks killer, but sounds even better. I'm gonna have to get a crack at that guitar. :D

I’d be more than happy to let you check it out! There is some really cool circuitry inside.

On the backplate you have the name of the man who designed the Viper Headstock in this model. I also have a Raptor from this anniversary series, great guitar.

Yes! I’m friends with one of the USA employees at Skervesen and he pointed that out to me when I got the guitar. It’s pretty cool!

Love the candid insight/perspective on such quality guitars! A Skervesen Raptor was my dream guitar for nearly 10 years until got my hands on an Ormsby Hype Machine. Glad to see someone as yourself repping such an amazing instrument. 🤘🦖

I sincerely appreciate it! Hope you get to play one in the future. Simply incredible instruments.

duuude i want one ahah, asked them if they’d do a truss rod heel adjustment on a raptor and they said not yet, they told me they’ll release a skerv with a truss rod wheel adjustment model soon but not on the raptor yet, guess i’ll have to wait ahah, but they seem super good

Truss rod wheels are a game changer! Love that my EBMM guitars have them.

Great video! How’s the guitar neck? I noticed nut width is slightly larger than 43mm, which makes me think it will match ESP Extra thin U and Wizard neck?
@ZackSeifMusic6 ай бұрын
I ended up selling it because I found the neck to be too wide for my liking. Sounded and looked perfect, but the neck needs to work. Wizard is thinner and the U feels a bit nicer personally.

I love my raptor 7 ntb I actually would say I liked the world domination mod more than an actual piezo

I would have definitely just put new pickups in that Blackmachine B6 but you do you lol
@ZackSeifMusic10 ай бұрын
It would've been pickups, wiring, and hardware. I have specific needs and preferences for my main band and I would've gutted the guitar to make it work best for what I need live. It was a better choice to leave as is otherwise it would've killed the resale.

And yes, I have a guitar with a piezo to compare to it it’s an Aristdes 060r but don’t give me wrong. Nothing wrong with a.piezo

That’s not a flame maple fretboard, not flame but ‘maille’ (in french, I don’t know the right word in english, is it mesh?)

Could anyone tell me if this has a regular poplar burl top or high grade? Good god this is sick

Serious concern in terms of versatility - no middle single detected.

It has all the options that I personally need! Never was much of a strat player or triple hum player myself, but I still get the appropriate split tones that I need on tour and in studio😁

The necks are very thick. As an Ibanez and a Schecter fan, these guitars are NOT for shredders!
@ZackSeifMusic Жыл бұрын
I disliked the neck, and that's the ONLY reason I sold it. It's very wide.
@SteveRozzano11 ай бұрын
How would this neck compare to a jackson RR24 or esp/ltd
@tarkgundogdu894011 ай бұрын
@@SteveRozzanothat Jackson has a shredder neck but the shape of the guitar may cause some trouble to access the treble frets. ESP/ltd have different necks on different models, but generally super strat models have thinner necks which are better for shredding.
