Despite what a lot of people have super wrong, a normal cup of coffee does hydrate you slightly. The argument is that the caffeine will dehydrate you, which it will, but the amount of water in the caffeine(coffee) is what makes it hydrate vs dehydrate you. If you drink an espresso you will get slightly dehydrated by it. But a cup of coffee will hydrate you.
