I know people got upset back then when it was determined that the Koopalings are elite minions and not Bowser’s kids, but seeing these clips of Junior’s story in the remake might warm them up to it. I've heard that the reason Bowser hasn't had actual voice acting since Sunshine was because they were so dissatisfied with his voice there - and it's true that it doesn't exactly scream 'menacing'. Everyone quotes Galaxy when talking about Bowser as a father, but they never look at the big picture of their relationship. I like to think that Bowser once parlayed with Mario to ask him to pull his punches with Junior, not because he thinks he's weak, but from a place of concern and love for his son. Death Battle encapsulates this notion perfectly. Bowser wasn't too concerned for most of his minions during that fight, even his surrogate father, Kamek. But when his SON gets hurt? Hell hath no fury.
