I played against cgb yesterday evening. He combo'd the crap out of my fair heiod lifegain deck with his crucias deck that popped tf off with paradox engine and the one ring. SOB had the perfect cards. I never stood a chance. I think I may have had a chance had I been more patient with my teferis protection. It was a big misplay, but oh well. I was antsy from watching cgb play solitaire for like five minutes straight. My username was Grouchopolis.

Skrelv was a good pick for this deck. I remember playing against Light Paws before Skrelv came out; I was running a Feather deck, and Light Paws at the time had no way of dealing with indestructible/hexproof-on-demand blockers.

I feel like you would have had a win in the game vs. yawgmoth if you'd just grabbed a toughness aura. The opponent demonstrated they (probably) couldn't kill light paws except with the -1/-1 counter plan, and you could very quickly overwhelm that with all that glitters effects.

Love the HB content! Also enjoyed your take on Light Paws. I think I found that sorcery speed removal was too clunky for a deck that can win so fast with the right opening, especially in hell queue. But yes, crushing Ragavan/mono red players with this deck is so cathartic! 😅 one of two decks I plan to build in paper soon!

Okay. I like this, but being 30+ years old is a vague place. I am 53, and my little corner of the larger community supports - is more of a support group for first responders and retired military. not really, i run a very low to the ground version with a lot of cheap interactions and its smashing hell queue so far... The atraxa player featured on the video was definitely greedy, though.

@@N3XUSbrz I end up playing quite a bit of hell queue myself, and I basically never fear the deck unless they are able to cast 2 spells in 1 turn by 3rd turn. By the time they are set up my decks already have inevitability. But yes, low to the ground like you are saying is the way to build her properly.
